    • It is an object of the present invention to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery in which a winding body is uniformly expanded, to thereby prevent undulation. A nonaqueous electrolyte battery (1) comprises a winding body (30) having a flattened shape, in which a positive electrode (31) and a negative electrode (32) are wound with separators (33, 34) interposed therebetween, and a negative electrode tab (36) joined to the negative electrode (32), extending in a winding axis direction of the winding body (30).     • The present invention provides a fuel cell optimum operating point tracking system capable of ensuring optimum operation of a fuel cell, by detecting the optimum operation voltage of the fuel cell taking not only temperature dependence of the output characteristics thereof, but also chemical reactions into consideration. The fuel cell optimum operating point tracking system is configured so as to vary a voltage of a fuel cell (1) output upon activation of a power source device (2) up to as high as a maximum voltage for the maximum power point tracking control by the fuel cell output voltage variation command unit (11), to measure the power state using a fuel cell output power measuring unit (12), to monitor the output power measured by the fuel cell output power measuring unit using a fuel cell maximum power point judging unit (13) to thereby judge the maximum power point of the output voltage of the fuel cell, and to track an optimum operating point through maximum power monitoring to thereby keep the power source operation constant at a stable condition using an optimum operating point variation command unit (15), and additionally giving a minimal voltage change at around the current operating voltage value.

    • There provided is a radiation computed tomography (CT) scanner, such as an X-ray CT scaner. A CT image of an object is obtained, resolution of the CT image being affected by a resolution adjustment parameter and the object having an axis. In case of an X-ray CT scaner, the scanner comprises a couch having a longitudinal direction, the axis of the object being aligned along the longitudinal direction, an X-ray source for radiating X-rays toward the object, a detector for detecting the X-rays transmitted through the object, an element for rotating at least the X-ray source around the object, an element for at least relatively moving the X-rays in the longitudinal direction, and an element for controlling the resolution adjustment parameter. Slit members may further be provided for forming the X-rays into a given slice thickness. The parameter includes moving pitches of the couch and rotating element, a rotating speed of the rotating element, an amount of X-rays, and slit widths, according to a longitudinal position of the object.
