    • The present invention is a sling system utilizing a rear sling fitting for a long firearm, such as a rifle. Such fittings typically are positioned between the stock and receiver. It presents a fitting body with an aperture to slide over a rifle receiver tube and a connection bar extending from a reverse of the fitting body. A point-type sling attachment may then be attached to the connection bar and be able to slide left and right across the back of the weapon, allowing for quickly adaptable left or right positioning of the weapon. Registration geometry may be added and positioned to further allow interface with weapon geometry and prevent rotation of the fitting during use. The connection bar may be positioned on another component of the weapon, such as the receiver or the stock, should the weapon not have a receiver extension tube. A convertible sling and forward sling mount are also disclosed for cooperative use with the fitting, completing the system.

    • The present invention is an ammunition magazine, preferably made of a glass fiber reinforced polymer, utilizing a structurally enhancing ridge, angular guide rails and a follower made to interface with said guide rails to reduce wobble. The preferred embodiment also features a protective cover that distributes forces from the spring to more structurally sound areas of the magazine, thus reducing feed end splay, and may include an ammunition indication system comprised of at least one window and a noticeable marker on the follower spring. The follower and magazine casing are also designed to interface to prevent the follower from popping out of the feed end and the floor plate of the magazine utilizes a locking plate and sliding relationship between the floor plate, locking plate and magazine to secure the floor plate onto the magazine casing.

    • A firearm butt stock with an adjustable cheek piece comprises an elongate stock base having a top, a bottom, a right side, a left side, a proximal end and a distal end. The stock base has a transverse pivot shaft near the stock base top and a transverse catch shaft spaced from the pivot shaft lengthwise of the stock base near the stock base top. A cheek piece has a proximal end and a distal end and a left and a right sidewall. The cheek piece defines a plurality of lengthwise stacked receptacles opening toward a proximal end of the cheek piece and an elongate hole having a distal and a proximal end spaced lengthwise and distal of the stacked receptacles. A spring detent is provided in operative association with one of the pivot shaft and the catch shaft. The spring detent prevents relative movement of the pivot shaft and the proximal and distal ends of the elongate hole without application of a lengthwise force to the cheek piece in a desired lengthwise direction of movement sufficient to overcome the spring detent.
