摘要： A billing system is disclosed which performs processing in order to provide service to user terminals, and which performs billing for the service provided to the user terminals. In this billing system, user billing profiles UBP are stored in a user billing profile registration unit, by service type and in user terminal units; a billing condition generation unit within a service provider server compares the user billing profile UBP corresponding to a specified service type and to a user terminal with a server billing profile SBP to generate billing conditions, and a billing condition setting unit of a foreign agent sets the billing conditions in a billing unit; and based on the billing conditions thus set, the billing unit executes billing processing for each user terminal.

摘要： To provide a service customized for each user and for each application, when user host terminal H1 communicates with user host terminal H2 using VoIP, the terminal H1 transmits a service initiation message to service execution units SN1 and SN2. By this message, the service execution unit SN1 and SN2 require service information L-SPC (A) and service information G-SPC (A), both information regards to VoIP service of the term H1, to authentication server A1 respectively. The service execution unit SN1 and SN2 execute a service based on L-SPC (A) and G-SPC (A) respectively. Doing this, service execution unit may provide a service customized for each user and for each application.

A presence server sets a group identifier as an identifier which is used to collectively look up a group of multiple pieces of presence information provided by presence information providers who have agreed to a use policy, aggregates and stores the presence information under the group identifier, and delivers the presence information requested to the group identifier. Each presentity provides the presence server with its presence information targeted to the group identifier. Each watcher requests the group identifier for the presence information provided by the presentities, and receives the presence information delivered from the presence server.

An originator collects target identifiers received by a sensor which receives a target identifier transmitted from a target device.
