    • The present invention relates to a method, system, network element and computer program product for transmitting a data stream in a point-to-multipoint mode from a source entity to a plurality of users in a predetermined area of a cellular network, said predetermined area comprising a plurality of sub-areas. Thereby, combination of global and local broadcast or multicast content is enabled in a broadcast system by avoiding overlapping of transmissions with different content at cell edges.
