摘要： A light-emitting assembly includes a light guide plate (LGP), a first infrared light-emitting part, a second infrared light-emitting part and a visible light-emitting part. The LGP has printed circuit patterns formed on a lower surface thereof. The first infrared light-emitting part includes a plurality of first infrared light-emitting diodes (LEDs) disposed at a first side of the LGP and spaced apart by intervals having different sizes. The second infrared light-emitting part includes a plurality of second infrared LEDs disposed at a second side of the LGP and spaced apart by intervals having different sizes. The visible light-emitting part includes a plurality of visible LEDs disposed at a third side of the LGP and spaced apart by intervals having different sizes, so that infrared light and visible light that is emitted from the two different kinds of light sources may be uniformly provided to a touch screen panel.

摘要： A polarizing plate includes a base layer, a buffer layer and a plurality of conductive lattice lines. The buffer is formed on the base layer. The conductive lattice lines are formed on the buffer layer in a stripe shape to reflect and polarize incident light. The buffer layer protects the conductive lattice lines. The conductive lattice lines include a silver (Ag) layer or an aluminum (Al) layer. Therefore, the buffer layer protects the conductive lattice lines, so that the lifetime of the polarizing plate may be increased. Furthermore, the display quality of a display panel and a display device having the polarizing plate may be enhanced.

摘要： A surface light source device includes a lamp body, a space dividing member, a discharge gas supplying member and a voltage applying part. The lamp body includes a flat shaped space and a fluorescent layer disposed in the flat shaped space to convert an invisible light into a visible light. The space dividing member divides the flat shaped space into a plurality of discharge spaces. The discharge gas supplying member is disposed to pass through the space dividing member and is fixed to the space dividing member, and supplies the discharge spaces with a discharge gas that generates the invisible light. The voltage applying part applies a discharge voltage to the discharge gas. Therefore, the lifetime of the surface light source device generating a planar light is increased, and the luminance of the light becomes uniform so that the display quality of an image is improved.

The second space width is smaller than the first and third space widths, and the second space length is smaller than the first and third space lengths. Thus, an electrode part of the flat fluorescent lamp is prevented from being blackened due to dendrite generated at the electrode part, so that the display quality of the liquid crystal display device having the flat fluorescent lamp can be improved.
