摘要： A method from transmitting data via multiple antennas. In this method, four information bits to be transmitted are multiplexed by using either one of a code division multiplexing scheme or a second code division multiplexing scheme combined with a real and imaginary multiplexing scheme, to generate a code division multiplexed symbol including four vectors. Then, the code division multiplexed symbol is repeatedly transmitted by alternatively applying two transmit diversity schemes via four transmission antennas.

The base station receives feedback information from either a second base station or a subscriber station served by the second base station. The base station is further configured to select which subscriber stations will participate in interference avoidance calculations.

摘要： The present invention relates to methods and apparatus for preventing power imbalance in a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) wireless precoding system. According to one aspect of the present invention, a codebook is constructed with a first subset of codewords that are constant modulus matrices, and a second subset of codewords that are non-constant modulus matrices. A mapping scheme is established between the first subset of codewords and the second subset of codewords. When a unit of user equipment feeds back a first codeword that is a non-constant modulus matrix, the Node-B may replace the first codewords with a second codeword that is selected from the first subset of codewords and that corresponds to the first codeword in accordance with the mapping scheme.

摘要： Methods and apparatus for transmitting power setting information in a downlink Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) in a communication system. In this communication system, a plurality of methods for calculating traffic-to-pilot ratios (T2P) are established. In addition, a mapping scheme between a plurality of overhead signals and a plurality of reference signal (RS) overhead ratios, ηRS, and the plurality of T2P calculation methods is established. A user-specific T2P ratio PB,k/PRS for certain OFDM symbols, a RS overhead ratio ηRS and a calculation method selected from the plurality of T2P calculation methods are assigned to a wireless terminal. Then, an overhead signal corresponding to both of the assigned RS overhead ratio ηRS and the assigned T2P calculation method is selected in accordance with the mapping scheme and is transmitted to the wireless terminal. In addition, the user-specific traffic-to-pilot ratio PB,k/PRS is transmitted to the wireless terminal. The wireless terminal may calculate the traffic-to-pilot ratios across different transmission antennas and different OFDM symbols in dependence upon the received traffic-to-pilot ratio PB,k/PRS, and the RS overhead ratio and the T2P calculation method indicated by the RS overhead signal.

In downlink of long term evolution (LTE) system, a downlink grant message is transmitted along with the packet data transmission. The grant message may also contain the redundancy version (RV). A new data indicator (NDI) is introduced to indicate the start of a new packet. The improved method of rate matching may be implanted into either a transmitter or a receiver.

摘要： A method of transmitting a control channel format indicator (CCFI), also known as PCFICH (Physical Control Format Indicator Channel), in case where the length of a coded CCFI is not an integer multiple of three, including mapping a plurality of two-bit CCFI into a codebook with each component codeword having three bits; generating a sequence of codewords selected from the codebook by repeating the selected component codeword for predetermined times; generating a codeword by concatenating the sequence of the selected component codewords with the original CCFI bits; and transmitting the codeword carrying information of CCFI. The method further includes a step of generating a permutation of each of the four codewords by assigning K repetitions of the three-bit component codeword to the number of K resource units respectively and mapping remaining K bits of each of the four codewords separately to the number of K resource units.
