    • A method for efficient control of a heater ventilation fan. The method includes switching the heater ventilation fan from low speed to high speed after a brief period P1 following starting, and continuing heater ventilation fan operation for a variable period of time P2 after the heat source has stopped. The period P1 is preferably about four minutes, and the period P2 is determined by the duration of heating and is generally between two and four minutes. Operating the heater ventilation fan at high speed improves heat transfer and efficiency while the heating system is operating, increases warm air movement to the space, satisfies the thermostat set point temperature in less time, reduces heating system operation, and reduces energy use. Continuing heater ventilation fan operation after turn-off maximizes recovery of additional heat from the heat exchanger to improve overall efficiency, extend the off cycle time, and save energy.

    • A laser powered cleaning system for cleaning pollutants and debris from both sides of automobile windshields and windows. The system includes an electromagnetic interior block having a top surface having a plurality of focused laser beams, and a magnetic exterior block having a top surface including a reflective surface. The windshield or window is situated between the interior and exterior blocks which pass over the window for cleaning. A power cord connected to an adapter plugs into an automobile power outlet for supplying power. A safety sensor is integrally coupled to the interior block for actuating the system when safe. The system is fixable onto a windshield or window within a door of an automobile. An on-off switch actuates the fixed system.

    • A process for preparing an extrudable product suitable for forming into a chewable pet food and comprising between about 56% to about 80% dry wheat gluten mix, between about 9% to about 28% liquid plasticizer mix and between about 8% to about 18% moisture by weight of the product is disclosed. The process comprises mixing the dry wheat gluten mix with water in an extruder, to form a moist wheat gluten mix, and mixing the moist wheat gluten mix with a liquid plasticizer mix and extruding at a temperature of less than 70° C. to form the extrudable product. The invention also relates to the extrudable product and to the chewable pet food formed therefrom by means of either further extrusion or injection moulding.
