    • A precision oscillator includes a capacitor, a charging current source, a discharging current source, a switch for alternatingly connecting the capacitor to the charging current source and the discharging current source, and a hysteretic comparator connected to the capacitor for producing an oscillating signal responsive to charging and discharging the capacitor. The oscillator may also preferably include a duty cycle controller connected to at least one of the charging current source and the discharging current source for setting the charging current and/or the discharging current to thereby set a duty cycle of the oscillating signal by setting a ratio of the charging and discharging currents. The charging current source may have a current setting input for permitting setting of a charging current to the capacitor, and the discharging current source may have a current setting input for permitting setting of a discharging current from the capacitor. The current setting inputs are connected to the duty cycle controller which, in one embodiment, may be provided by a processor and respective digital-to-analog converters.

    • An emergency response treatment bed system. The emergency response beds may include a frame having a pair of opposing tubular stainless steel side supports and a pair of opposing tubular stainless steel end supports. The side supports and end supports are affixed each to the other by corner fixtures. A plurality of collapsible support legs are affixed to the frame. The support legs have an upper end and a lower end, and are adapted to support the frame above a selected substrate. A support deck is coupled to the frame. The support deck is adapted to support a patient body, and is provided with a liquid impervious, molded thermoplastic contaminant resistant cleanable surface. The support deck also has, above at least some of the support legs, a cutout portion defined by edgewalls, to provide access through the support deck to the support legs, so that multiple beds may be stacked one above the other, using support inserts between vertically adjacent support legs.

    • A portable camera support, combining a mounting bracket or tray with a shaft or pole and a foot bar, may provide stable, portable support for cameras or other devices. The stability of the support may yield more reliable scouting results. The portability of the support may afford greater efficiency, possibly resulting in reduced time associated with locating wildlife or other items of interest. An exemplary camera support may have a mounting bracket or tray releasibly mounted to a shaft by means of a set screw threaded through a collar on the bracket. The shaft may be inserted, using the foot bar for example, into soil or other supportive media. The mounting bracket may be adjusted vertically or rotationally 360° with the aid of the set screw. The camera support may be configured with multiple brackets mounted to a shaft, thereby providing different fields of view without adjusting the brackets.

The multi-module adjustable storefront system includes an entrance meta-module that is adjustable to conform to different heights and lengths of an entrance section of a building structure. The entrance meta-module includes column modules that are adjustable to accommodate different heights. The entrance meta-module further includes top cap and main portion modules that may have additional modules added to adjust the entrance meta-module to different lengths of an entrance section of a building structure. In addition, the entrance meta-module may further include wall top cap portion modules which may have modules added to it to accommodate different length walls of a building structure. In addition an end-wall meta-module is provided for placement on the outside surface of a building structure wall. The end-wall meta-module includes a top cap module, base module, and partial column module. The top cap module and base module are adjustable by insertion of middle portions in order to adjust the length of the end-wall meta-module to accommodate different length walls. All of these modules are attachable to an outside surface of a building structure.

    • A multi-tray distillation unit having a separator for de-entraining liquid particles which are picked up by an upwardly flowing gaseous stream which is flowing countercurrent to a descending liquid flow in the unit. The separator which is placed above the contact plate on which the gas contacts the liquid, comprises vertically spaced tiers of elongated, substantially horizontal open-topped liquid collector channels arrayed in parallel rows transversely to the flow of the gas. The liquid collector channels are vertically staggered to deflect the gas flow from a lower tier level through the gaps between the collection channels of an upper tier and around the channels so as to cause the entrained liquid particles to separate from the gaseous stream by inertia into the channels of the lower tier. The collected liquid is then returned through a liquid downcorner to a contact plate. An improved channel configuration has a rigidly-mounted, horizontally-elongated flow deflector extending downwards from an upper tier channel toward a lower tier channel, this provides gas flow deflection and increased efficiency of liquid particle de-entrainment. The flow deflector may be mounted directly on each upper tier channel. The channels may be formed from a single crimped and perforated metal sheet or the like, and adjacent formed tiers may be stacked to form a de-entrainment zone array. The lower tier channels may be formed from a single metal sheet having a channel bottom and sides, with a foraminous section extending upwardly from one side and a transverse section extending away from the lower channel, and terminating in a flow deflector adjacent to the bottom of a channel of an upper tier.
