    • A ceramic TEM resonator bandstop filter is disclosed wherein the direct inter-resonator coupling is retarded by a plurality of shorting holes which are positioned between the resonators and extend from the top surface to the bottom surface of said ceramic filters. Furthermore, there is disclosed a transverse electrical connector which electrically connects the shorting holes with the opposite sides of the typical metalization found on ceramic TEM resonator filters. Furthermore, there is disclosed a method of making a capacitor for each resonator with the bottom capacitor pad being formed directly upon the top surface of the ceramic of the filter while the top capacitor pad is formed upon the top surface of a circuit board which is placed above the top surface of the filter.

    • An antenna array includes a flexible microstrip PCB feed layer and a plurality of radiating elements attached to the flexible PCB feed layer. The radiating elements comprise a Tau scalable log periodic array of low profile radiating elements for producing a monopole, end fire radiation pattern. Radiating elements include printed inverted F antenna elements and multi-arm puck elements for circular polarization. The antenna array is conformable to a curved surface. The radiating elements can be either integrated within a multi-layer flex or rigid flex PCB, or configured as individual elements that are die attached to a common ground plane flex circuit.

    • A weather radar antenna for radiating a desired beam formed by feeding quadrants of the antenna uses a dual-mode switched aperture antenna feed. The dual-mode switched antenna feed has an input divider that splits the input signal. A left switch switches the split input signal using a left first diode and a left second diode to top left and bottom right quadrants of the antenna. A right switch switches the split input signal using a right first diode and a right second diode to top right and bottom left quadrants of the antenna. The diodes are forward and reverse biased as required to feed top, bottom, left and right portions of the antenna to obtain the desired beam. When all the diodes are reversed biased the split signal is fed to all quadrants of the antenna.
