    • A tribo-inhaler having a container portion for electrostatically retaining a predefined dose of medicament powder, where the medicament is tribo-electrically charged; and apparatus, attached to the container portion, for extracting said medicament powder from the container portion. The container portion contains a plurality of polymeric beads that have diameters of approximately 50 to 200 microns. Each of the polymeric beads has a specific quantity of dry powder medicament electrostatically adhered to its surface. To remove the medicament from the cavity, a patient merely inhales air through the container portion. The air flow forcefully moves the beads within the container portion causing the medicament to dislodge from the beads and be carried by the air flow into the lungs of the patient.

    • In accordance with the present invention, a method of electrophotographically manufacturing a luminescent screen assembly for a color CRT 10 on an interior surface of a faceplate panel 12 is described. A volatilizable organic conductive (OC) layer 32 is provided on the interior surface of the panel and a volatilizable organic photoconductive (OPC) layer 34 overlies the OC layer 32. The method includes the steps of: establishing a substantially uniform electrostatic charge on the OPC layer; exposing selected areas of the OPC layer to visible light to affect the charge thereon; developing the selected areas of the OPC layer with a triboelectrically charged, dry-powdered, first color-emitting phosphor; sequentially repeating the charging, exposing and developing sequence for triboelectrically charged, dry-powdered, second and third color-emitting phosphors to form a luminescent screen comprising picture elements of triads of color-emitting phosphors; fixing the phosphors to the underlying OPC layer with a suitable fixative; filming the phosphors; and aluminizing the filmed phosphors. The present method is an improvement over prior methods because the fixing step utilizes an electrostatic spray to uniformly contact the phosphors and the underlying OPC layer with the fixative, without moving the phosphors.

    • A photosensitive composition useful in providing a positive or negative presensitized coating on a hydrophilic substrate in photosensitive reproduction comprises1. a cumulene compound having the general formula: ##EQU1## WHERE N= 1-6 AND R.sub.a, R.sub.b, R.sub.c and R.sub.d are selected from the group consisting of ##SPC1##Or H and wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are the same or different alkyl or aryl radical and each ##EQU2## group can be positioned at any other position on the benezene ring, such as ##SPC2##2. an organic polyhalogenated initiator solid at room temperature such as CBr.sub.4, and CHI.sub.3 ; and3. one or more solvents suitable to dissolve the cumulene compound and the organic polyhalogenated initiator such as CHI.sub.3. The composition has both positive and negative capability in that after selected exposure to actinic radiation, a polar solvent will dissolve and remove the radiation exposed portion of the composition and a non-polar solvent will dissolve and remove the radiation non-exposed portion.
