    • To pertinently control perforation and transfer (setting) of a stencil sheet in correspondence with each of plural printing drums, perforated stencil sheet are set to plural printing drums byt moving single stencil making unit, and a position of the stencil making unit is detected by position sensors and a shield plate. Then, printing drum information of ink color supplied to the respective printing drums is detected by a printing drum information detecting device with regard to respective printing drums, and the stencil making unit is made to be standby as it is at a position of setting drum to which the stencil making unit has been transferred finally after finishing to transfer stencil sheet to the respective printing drums. At a successive stencil making operation, stencil making instruction information expediting perforation to an operator is sent from the printing drum at standby position to be displayed on a displaying device.

    • A knock suppression control apparatus for an internal combustion engine which can avoid erroneous knock detection and hence the erroneous knock suppression control, to thereby ensure knock suppression control with high reliability. The knock suppression control apparatus includes an ion current detecting means (10) for detecting an ion current (i) flowing by way of a spark plug (8) upon combustion of an air-fuel mixture charged in the cylinder, a filter means (14A) for extracting a knock signal (Kj) from an output signal (Ei) of the ion current detecting means (10), a knock decision means (23) for deciding occurrence of a knock event in the engine on the basis of the knock signal (Kj), a control quantity correcting means (24) for correcting a control quantity for the internal combustion engine so as to suppress the knock event on the basis of result (H) of decision made by the knock decision means (23), an integrating means (16, 16A) for arithmetically determining an integral value (Km; Em) which corresponds to an output level of the ion current (Ei), a comparison level setting means (26, 26A) for setting a predetermined comparison reference level (MR) for the integral value (Km; Em), and a correcting quantity arithmetic means (25, 25A) for outputting a correcting signal (M1; M2) for correcting parameters relevant to the knock decision means (23) or alternatively relevant to the control quantity correcting means (24) on the basis of result of the comparison between the integral value (Km; Em) and the comparison reference level (MR).

    • A control apparatus for an internal combustion engine capable of optimizing a control parameter for the engine on the basis of information concerning combustion state of the engine by making use of a detected ion current which changes with a high sensitivity in dependence on combustion state within an engine cylinder, for thereby realizing an engine operation control to reduce fuel cost without degrading a control performance for obtaining a high engine output and drivability of a motor vehicle equipped with the engine. The apparatus includes an ion current detecting means (12) for detecting an amount of ions generated within an engine cylinder under control in terms of an ion current (i) immediately after ignition for the engine cylinder, a decision-destined value detecting means (2) for determining a decision-destined value corresponding to a combustion state of the engine cylinder on the basis of a detected value (Ei) of the ion current, and a correction control means (2) for correcting a control parameter for controlling operation of the internal combustion engine when result of comparison of the decision-destined value with a reference value therefor indicates at least one of lowering in output power of the internal combustion engine and degradation in the combustion state in the engine cylinder.

The leakage current compensating means supplies a compensating current (ic) for canceling out a leakage current component (iL) flowing along a same path as the ion current (i). The ion current detecting means outputs as the ion current detection signal only an ion current signal component (io) from which the leakage current has been eliminated.

The modulation device modulates a transmission signal and has a first power source unit to supply a power source to the distributing circuit. The demodulation device demodulates a reception signal and has a second power source unit to supply a power source to the distributing circuit. A switching device is arranged between the distributing circuit and the first power source unit or between the distributing circuit and the second power source unit. The switching device selects either one of the first and second power source units to connect the selected power source unit to the distributing circuit, so that the power source is applied to each unit in the apparatus through the distributing circuit.

    • A communication system in which a plurality of terminal devices connected to a loop transmission line perform data transmission/reception in a time-division multiplexing manner by using a communication frame circulating the transmission line. The communication frame being constituted by a plurality of sub-frames, each including a plurality of time slots. Each of the terminal devices is arranged to perform data transmission/reception using a designated time slot in a designated sub-frame. All the sub-frames in the communication frame are allotted to a terminal device of a high capability of data transmission, while less than all of the sub-frames are allotted to a terminal device of a low capability of data transmission. A plurality of low speed terminal devices, to which sub-frames different from each other have been respectively allotted, commonly use a time slot of the same number, so that each of the time slots in the communication frame can be effectively utilized.
