    • The present invention relates to a snapshot system for a data storage system including a host that communicates with a cache memory, source storage, target storage, and metadata, including a source storage for active data, a target storage to store migrated snapshot data, first metadata (e.g., bitmaps and log files with pointers) to indicate when and to locate where the first snapshot data is in the target storage, and second metadata (e.g., bitmaps and log files pointers) to indicate when and to locate where the second snapshot data is in the target storage wherein the first metadata and the second metadata locate the same snapshot data in the target storage. The invention also relates to destaging data so as to maintain data consistency including reading the metadata for all of the snapshots into a host memory, searching the metadata to identify snapshots that require original data to be destaged, destaging the original data to the target storage, and updating the metadata to locate the original data and indicate completion of target destage operation.

    • An apparatus is disclosed for detecting sleep disordered breathing (SDB), cardiac events and/or heart rate variability (HRV) in a subject from a physiological electrocardiogram (ECG) signal. The apparatus includes means for monitoring the ECG signal and means for extracting from the ECG signal parameters indicative of the SDB, cardiac events and/or HRV. The apparatus also includes means utilizing the parameters to detect the SDB, cardiac events and/or HRV. The SDB, cardiac events and/or HRV may be detected in real time, breath by breath and/or post acquisition of the ECG signal. The apparatus may include means for determining a treatment for the SDB, cardiac events and/or HRV. An electromyogram (EMG) signal may be extracted from the ECG signal to provide a marker for distinguishing OSA from CSA. The marker may indicate that treatment levels should be varied to avoid elevated cardiac risk. A method of detecting SDB, cardiac events and/or HRV in the subject is also disclosed.

    • A method and apparatus for assembling a fluid conduit assembly and testing the fluid conduit for leaks. Clipping devices support fasteners at a position remote from the conduit. According to the invention the fasteners can be loaded into clip nests provided by the clipping devices while leak testing of the conduit is performed. The performance of these steps simultaneously effectively eliminates the conventional requirement of pre-loading installation fasteners into the leak testing apparatus, and thus reduces the overall time required for the testing and assembly of fluid conduits by approximately one third. If the leak test is successful, all of the fasteners are then moved to the conduits and closed to integrate the conduit assembly.
