摘要： A means is disclosed for marking one or more clean line on the absorbent tip of a cotton swab. The means comprises of a tool with a thin groove wherein at predetermined locations at the bottom of the thin groove, there are channels for directing ink into the thin groove from an ink source. A thin absorbent thread is placed into this thin groove to absorb and distribute the ink thereby allowing controlled distribution of the ink which results in the formation of a clean line when the absorbent tip of a cotton swab is rotated over the thin absorbent thread during the manufacturing of the cotton swab resulting in a clean line marked on the absorbent tip.

The container with thumb button in a slot comprises an elongated tubular housing with a small opening at one end and a slot extending from the other end to approximately half the length of the elongated tubular housing. A piston is disposed near the end of the elongated tubular housing with the slot. The piston has a raised thumb button near the end that is disposed near the end of the elongated tubular housing. The raised thumb button is engaged to a ratchet mechanism to enable the piston to move back and forth in the elongated tubular housing in predetermined steps. A liquid or viscous substance is disposed in the elongated tubular housing between the small opening at one end of the elongated tubular housing and the piston wherein when the piston is urged toward the liquid or viscous substance in the elongated tubular housing, the liquid or viscous substance will be extracted from the elongated tubular housing through the small opening at the end of the elongated tubular housing.

The member affixed within the slender container disrupts the surface tension of the perfume and allows the content to flow easily from the small diameter slender container. The slender container can be used as the body of a swab applicator and also for storing fluids wherein the fluid in the slender container may be released into a brush or an absorbent material attached to the ends of the swab applicator when desired.

The enclosed opening device may be operated by either squeezing or bending the applicator at or near the enclosed opening device. Once the enclosed opening device is opened, the fluids sealed within the elongated sealed container will commingle with each other and be released for application or may be released directly for application. There are no loose parts that may be lost and the fluids are completely sealed within the applicator.
