摘要： A broadcast transmitting apparatus and method, and a broadcast playback apparatus and method for providing an object-based audio by encoding and decoding a multichannel audio signal are provided. The broadcast transmitting apparatus may generate audio identification information used to determine whether the multichannel audio signal is an object-based audio signal. When the multichannel audio signal is determined to be the object-based audio signal, based on the audio identification information, the broadcast playback apparatus may control and output the multichannel audio signal for each channel.

摘要： An apparatus and method for injecting synchronized stream data into a Motion Picture Experts Group 2 (MPEG-2) video/audio transport stream for a digital data broadcasting service. The apparatus and method for injecting synchronized stream data calculate the injection time point of data access unit (DAU) that forms the synchronized stream data and injects DAU into the MPEG-2 video/audio transport stream based on the calculated injection time point so that the synchronized stream data could be presented smoothly in a receiver. The synchronized stream data injecting apparatus includes: an additional data storing unit, a synchronized stream data selection/establishment unit, a synchronized stream data analyzing unit, a transport stream analyzing unit, a synchronized stream data injection/management unit, a presentation time stamp re-stamping unit and a multiplexing unit.

The present invention the steps of creating root blocks which have a fixed global depth, calculating an index value which shows the location information on how many bits will be referenced for root blocks from the global depth through a hash function when root blocks are completely filled with directories, calculating the block numbers of leaf blocks consisted of extent blocks based on a plurality fixed length platform which are logical and successive objects using the index value and storing the block numbers sequentially to the root blocks, and storing the directory entries of root blocks separately in leaf blocks.As a result, the present invention can improve the search performance by minimizing the cause of frequently change of data storage structure of the file system and flexibly preventing creation of indirect blocks.
