摘要： A multi-use lawn mower capable of operating as a mulching, side-discharge, or a bagging mower. The lawn mower (10) includes; a mower deck (14) having an opening (58) therein forming a passageway through which grass clippings exit the cutting chamber during select modes of operation. The lawn mower also includes a grass-collecting hopper (40) removably mounted on the mower deck (14), the grass-collecting hopper (40) having a basket portion (42) for receiving grass clippings cut by the cutting blade (36) and a multi-station mounting portion (60) configured to interface with the opening (58) in the mower deck in a plurality of orientations. The mounting portion includes a mulching station (64) that configures the lawn mower to function as a mulching mower, a bagging station (66) that configures the lawn mower to function as a bagging mower, and a side-discharge station (68) that configures the lawn mower to function as a side-discharge mower. When the multi-station mounting portion mounts the grass-collecting hopper on the mower deck, a single one of the stations interfaces with the opening in the mower deck to configure the lawn mower for desired mode of operation.

This allows the emitter to tune onto the absorption line twice per cycle as it passes through the line. This causes the increase in absorption as would the normal sweep of a Bell-Bloom magnetometer but avoids the drawbacks, such as drift and heading error.

摘要： A reusable test socket is described for testing fine pitch devices including singulated bare die, semiconductor wafers, chip sized packages, printed circuit boards, and the like to determine that the fine pitch device is not faulty. The socket contains a circuit pad pattern in the mirror image of the pattern of contact points, usually bond pads of the fine pitch device to be tested. Each pad of the socket contains a conductive elastomeric probe which has been "screened" onto the bond pad. The socket also contains an alignment template for orienting the fine pitch device onto the elastomeric probes of the contact point pattern of the test socket. Additionally, the socket can be a singular piece or it can be made of two main pieces; the first being a socket, and the second being a test board designed to mate with the socket. The disclosed invention also includes a method of using the reusable test socket which includes the steps of placing the fine pitch device onto the test socket, placing the socket into electrical continuity with test equipment and conducting electrical tests at ambient as well as elevated temperatures.

摘要： An adsorbent filter for removing caffeine from liquids. The filter is composed of a matrix of fibrous material; and adsorbent particulate material integrated within the matrix of fibrous material, so that passage of a liquid having a caffeine concentration ranging from about 20 to about 100 mg per 100 mL of liquid through the matrix for a contact time of less than about 2 minutes results in at least a 40 percent reduction in the caffeine concentration of the liquid. The matrix of fibrous material may be selected from woven fabrics, knit fabrics and nonwoven fabrics. The adsorbent material may be clay minerals such as, for example, smectite clay minerals. Examples of smectite clay minerals include, bentonite clays and montmorillonite clays. Generally speaking, the filter can be adapted to provide at least a 40 percent reduction in the caffeine concentration for about 1 cup to about 40 cups of a liquid.

摘要： A reusable test socket is described for testing singulated bare die to determine, before packaging, that the bare die is a "known good die". The socket contains a circuit pad pattern in the mirror image of the bond pad pattern of the bare die to be tested. Each pad of the socket contains a conductive elastomeric probe which has been "screened" onto the bond pad. The socket also contains an alignment template for orienting the bare die onto the elastomeric probes of the pad pattern of the test socket. Additionally, the socket can be a singular piece or it can be made of two main pieces; the first being a socket, and the second being a test board designed to mate with the socket. Further, the socket can be utilized in conjunction with a clamp for holding the bare die in place and with a thermoelectric cooler. The thermoelectric cooler is used to heat or cool the die at all temperatures required for military certification and other extended temperature applications. The disclosed invention also includes a method of using the reusable test socket which includes the steps of placing the bare die onto the test socket, placing the socket into electrical continuity with test equipment, conducting tests at ambient temperatures, subjecting the die to a prolonged period of "burn-in" at elevated temperatures, conducting further electrical tests at various temperatures, and determining whether the bare semiconductor die is a "known good die".
