    • A display device including a display panel having first pixels emitting light in a first field and second pixels emitting light in a second field is disclosed. According to one aspect, the display device includes a controller configured to extract first field data transmitted to the first pixels and second field data transmitted to the second pixels from input data, divide the first field data, insert black data between two neighboring first field data to generate first output data, divide the second field data, and insert black data between two neighboring second field data to generate second output data. The display device also includes a data driver configured to transmit a first data signal based on the first output data to the display panel in the first field and transmitting a second data signal based on the second output data to the display panel in the second field.

    • In a fabricating method of a touch screen panel, a conductive layer and an insulating layer are sequentially formed on a same surface of a transparent substrate. The conductive layer and the insulating layer are co-patterned using a halftone mask to form first connection patterns having separated patterns and the insulating layer being patterned on the first connection patterns to expose regions of the first connection patterns. A transparent electrode layer is formed on the transparent substrate having the first connection patterns and the insulating layer. The transparent electrode layer is patterned to form first sensing patterns connected to the first connection patterns through the exposed regions of the first connection patterns and connected along a first direction, and to form second sensing patterns disposed between the first sensing patterns, wherein the second sensing patterns are insulated from the first sensing patterns and connected along a second direction.

    • A touch screen panel includes first and second sense cells on a same layer and coupling patterns that couple adjacent ones of the first sense cells and adjacent ones of the second sense cells to each other, respectively. The coupling patterns do not cross with each other, thereby improving the ability of the coupling patterns to withstand static electricity. A dummy line formed of a same material as the sense cells may be formed between the first and second sense cells, and the dummy line is electrically coupled to a guard ring located in an area outside of a display area of the touch screen panel, making it possible to overcome the effects of static electricity applied to the front surface of the touch screen panel as well as the side surface thereof.
