摘要： Methods of making slide-zippered reclosable packages are provided. In one embodiment, a pair of opposing film extensions are provided on each package between which a zipper and slider are attached. In another embodiment, sliders are inserted on to zippered packages output from a form-fill-seal machine or the like. In yet another embodiment, during package formation a reclosable zipper is sealed to each package and then a slider is inserted on to the zipper. In yet another embodiment, during package formation a reclosable zipper is sealed to each package and a slider is inserted on to each zipper, either before or after zipper sealing.

摘要： A method for identifying and selecting novel substrates for enzymes is provided. The method comprises constructing a gene fusion comprising DNA encoding a polypeptide fused to DNA encoding a substrate peptide, which in turn is fused to DNA encoding at least a portion of a phage coat protein. The DNA encoding the substrate peptide is mutated at one or more codons thereby generating a family of mutants. The fusion protein is expressed on the surface of a phagemid particle and subjected to chemical or enzymatic modification of the substrate peptide. Those phagemid particles which have been modified are then separated from those that have not.

The golf tee has a golf tee body with a top plate, top wall and side walls. A contact alert coating is coated on at least an upper portion of the golf tee body. The contact alert coating is composed of a material that will generate an alert when a golf club head strikes the ball and strikes the contact alert coating of the golf tee at the coating/golf tee interface. Preferably, the material is a spark inducing composition and/or a sound generating composition.

摘要： A method of manufacturing flexible containers that are hermetically resealable. Each resealable container comprises a receptacle and a pair of plastic zipper strips. The zipper strips are flattened at the ends within the side seal regions and are joined to each other, without substantial deformation of the closure profiles, in respective transition areas substantially contiguous with the side seals. These transition areas of zipper strip joinder assist in providing a leakproof transition from the openable section of the zipper to the side seals, where the closure profiles are fused and flattened (i.e., crushed).
