First, a plurality of user interfaces are provided, and one of the user interfaces is displayed in a touch screen of the portable electronic device. A representative icon bar and a hot key bar are displayed in the touch screen, wherein the representative icon bar comprises representative icons respectively corresponding to the user interfaces and the hot key bar comprises one or more hot keys corresponding to the user interface currently displayed in the touch screen.     • A method for handling an incoming call in a screen lock state, a communication device and a recording medium thereof are provided. In the present method, when a communication device in a screen lock state receives an incoming call, the communication device exits the screen lock state and displays an incoming call frame. Then, the incoming call is handled according to an input instruction. After the completion of a handling of the incoming call, an idle time of the communication device that receives no operation is counted. When the idle time reaches a predefined value, the communication device returns to the screen lock state. As a result, a user may conveniently inspect and handle the incoming call even if the communication device is in the screen lock state.

    • A method and an apparatus for adjusting a display area of a user interface, and a recording medium using the same are provided. In this method, a first user interface and a second user interface are displayed on a touch screen of a portable electronic device. The first user interface is located in a first direction side of the second user interface and the second user interface is located in a second direction side of the first user interface. Then, the touch screen detects a touch signal. When the touch signal is moved toward the first direction, the display area of the second user interface is enlarged. When the touch signal is moved toward the second direction, the display area of the first user interface is enlarged. Accordingly, the size of the display area of the first and the second user interface can be adjusted by the user.

    • A mobile electronic device, a method for entering a screen lock state and a recording medium thereof are provided. In the present method, an input signal is received through a touch panel of the mobile electronic device. Then, a movement track of the input signal is obtained if a starting point of the input signal is located in a non-display area of the touch panel, and a vertical displacement of the input signal is calculated if the movement track contains a specific direction. Finally, a screen lock frame is dragged and displayed, and the mobile electronic device is switched to the screen lock state if the displacement reaches a predetermined value. Thereby, an intuitional way for locking the screen is provided, and accordingly, the convenience in operating the mobile electronic device is improved.
