摘要： A method of synthesizing a high purity product of α, α, α′, α′-tetrachloro-p-xylene is disclosed. The method includes carrying out a first stage reaction of terephthaldicarboxaldehyde with a mixture of SOCl2 and dimethylformamide (DMF) to obtain a product mixture containing α, α, α′, α′-tetrachloro-p-xylene as a major product and 4-dichloromethyl benzaldehyde as a side product; adding SOCl2 and DMF to the product mixture of the first stage reaction to undergo a second stage reaction; and to a cool water adding the resulting product mixture from the second stage reaction to obtain a solid product of α, α, α′, α′-tetrachloro-p-xylene with a purity of 90-99 mol %.

Subsequently, processes of filling and sealing are conducted to complete the fabrication of the discharge lamps.

摘要： The present invention provides a composite optical film as well as a decorated article comprising the same. The composite optical film comprises a substrate, a releasing layer, an optional durable layer, an ink layer, and an adhesive layer. The first surface of the substrate forms the first roughened configuration with an average roughness Ra of at least 0.5 μm. The releasing layer, whose second surface adheres to the first surface of the substrate, forms the second roughened configuration complementing the corresponding first configuration. Via the second roughened configuration and varying thickness of the releasing layer, the composite optical film generates glossy gradient effects.

摘要： Brightness correction apparatus and method for a plasma display, where the non-linear relationship between the gray scale and the brightness of the plasma display is considered. The brightness error is measured to build up a brightness error table. When the gray scale data of the currently displaying pixel is received, the brightness error diffusion method is applied. The weighted display brightness error of the neighboring pixel is incorporated for calculation to obtain an optimal display result. When the modified output gray scale data is derived by calculation, the brightness error table is looked up, and the display brightness error of the currently displaying pixel is thus saved to provide modification calculation for other pixels.

The driving circuit comprises a calculating unit, a gain unit, and a control unit, wherein the calculating unit is used for receiving an image signal to output a first display loading corresponding to the image signal. Furthermore, the control unit is used for receiving the second display loading to correspondingly output a sustain frequency. The power consumption of the plasma display panel is conformed to a rated value by driving with the sustain frequency.
