    • Control circuits for a riding lawn mower. The control circuits provide an override condition for selectively allowing the cutting blades of the lawn mower to operate when the vehicle is traveling in reverse. The circuits incorporate an ignition switch (8), an override switch (80), a vehicle reverse switch (40), and an operator presence switch (12). In one aspect of the invention, the control circuits disable the engine when the vehicle is placed in reverse with the PTO engaged and without the override condition having been established. In another aspect of the invention, an electric PTO clutch (60) is disabled when the vehicle is placed in reverse with the PTO engaged and without the override condition having been established. The override condition is terminated when the vehicle is turned off, or when the operator deactivates the manual override switch.

The interlock mechanism is rotatable between unlocked and locked positions relative to the receptacle body and relative to the portion of the switch mechanism such that the interlock mechanism when in the locked position relative to the receptacle body and concurrently in the unlocked position relative to the switch mechanism prevents removal of a plug from the receptacle body after the switch mechanism has been switched to the ON position, whereas the interlock mechanism when in the unlocked position relative to the receptacle body and concurrently in the locked position relative to the switch mechanism prevents switching of the switch mechanism from the OFF position to the ON position once a plug is allowed to be removed from or reinserted into the receptacle body.

    • A receptacle assembly includes a body adapted to receive a plug at one end, a cover having a top wall and a hinge having opposite upper and lower ends pivotally mounting the cover to the body for undergoing movement between an open condition and a closed condition relative to the body. The upper end of the hinge is in the form of a cap mounting the top wall of the cover such that the cover is rotatable relative to the hinge. The cover in the closed condition is rotatable between unlocked and locked positions relative to the body. The assembly further includes separate location and position indicator elements respectively in the form of a stationary arrowhead on the hinge cap and a pair of indicia in the form of words on the cover top wall being separately alignable with the stationary arrowhead upon rotation of the cover between the locked and unlocked positions. A first of the indicia on the cover is the word "open" referring to the unlocked position of the cover. A second of the indicia on the cover is the word "closed" referring to the locked position of the cover.

    • A handle assembly for use with a circuit breaker includes an elongated shaft mounted through a hole in a cover of an enclosure containing a circuit breaker having an actuator lever movable between a plurality of different positions. The shaft is mounted to the cover to undergo rotational movement about, but not translational movement along, a longitudinal axis of the shaft. The outer end portion of the shaft extends outwardly from an exterior side of the cover, while an inner end portion of the shaft extends inwardly from an interior side of the cover into the enclosure, terminating at a location spaced from the actuator lever of the circuit breaker in the enclosure. The handle assembly also includes a handle attached to the outer end portion of the shaft so as to undergo rotation with the shaft. The handle is adapted for gripping to rotate the handle and therewith the shaft about the longitudinal axis thereof, and a coupling mechanism for coupling with the actuator lever of the circuit breaker in the enclosure to move the actuator lever between the positions thereof upon rotation of the shaft by rotation of the handle. The coupling mechanism is mounted to the inner end portion of the shaft to undergo rotation with the shaft and translational movement relative to the shaft along the longitudinal axis thereof for adjusting the axial length of the handle assembly to reach respective actuator levers of circuit breakers when displaced at different distances from the cover of the enclosure.

The linking members are formed into first and second groups which extend between and interconnect the second alternating ones of the circuit breaker actuators in the columns and respective ones of the operating members of the second group disposed in the second pair of columns so as to provide the indirectly coupled relationships therebetween.
