摘要： In an IC socket for an electrical part, a contact pin electrically connecting a terminal of an electrical part and a printed circuit board is provided for a socket body of an IC socket. The contact pin comprises a sleeve having a space with one end opening, a plunger inserted into the sleeve through the end opening thereof to be vertically movable and an elastic member for urging downward the plunger. The sleeve is arranged to be vertically movable with respect to the socket body and is provided with a contact portion formed to an upper end thereof contacts a terminal of the electrical part to be electrically connected thereto and the plunger has a lower end contacting the printed circuit board to establish an electrical connection therebetween.

摘要： A substrate on which a plurality of thin films having a plurality of cross-sections corresponding to the cross-section of a micro-structure are formed is placed on a substrate holder. The substrate holder is elevated to bond a thin film formed on the substrate to the surface of a stage, and by lowering the substrate holder, the thin film is separated from the substrate and transferred to the stage side. The transfer process is repeated to laminate a plurality of thin films on the stage and to form the micro-structure. Accordingly, there are provided a micro-structure having high dimensional precision, especially high resolution in the lamination direction, which can be manufactured from a metal or an insulator such as ceramics and can be manufactured in the combined form of structural elements together, and a manufacturing method and an apparatus thereof.

摘要： A top surface of a wafer is provided with an n-type source region, an n-type drain region, and an n-type semiconductor region. Dry etching using a plasma is performed with respect to an interlayer insulating film deposited on the wafer to form openings reaching the respective regions, followed by light etching for removing a damaged layer. In this case, exciting light is supplied intermittently to the n-type semiconductor region. The progression of the removal of the damaged layer and the stage of development of a newly damaged layer are sensed by monitoring the change rate of the intensity of reflected probe light in the presence and absence of the exciting light, resulting in the formation of a semiconductor device having low and equal contact resistance. In-line control using optical evaluation enables the implementation of semiconductor devices with excellent and consistent properties.

摘要： A socket for electric parts is equipped with a socket body having a mounting face on which an electric part is mounted; contact pins fixed on the socket body, each having a contact portion, a trigger portion, and a spring portion; and a cover mounted on the socket body, free to move up and down. The end edge of the contact portion contacts a corresponding lead of the electric part and is configured to incline with respect to the end edge of the lead. The trigger portion and the spring portion are configured to project toward the center of the socket body. The width of the spring portion projecting toward the center of the socket body is such as to increase progressively in going to the base portion of the contact pin. In this way, a high pressure of contact between the lead and the contact pin and a sufficient wiping action are ensured, and a socket for electric parts capable of continued high performance over a long period of time is provided.

The method and device are inexpensive and capable of securely cutting the wire and separating the circuits in one operation step. A wiring circuit for an electrical connection box comprises wire portions and connecting terminals connected with the wire portions. The wire portions are made by cutting a wire such that at least one of the two cut ends of the wire is bent with respect to the extension direction of the wire simultaneously with the cutting of the wire.

摘要： The invention provides a polymeric insulating material having a high dielectric breakdown voltage. The material comprises polypropylene which has been obtained in a yield of at least 300,000 g/g-Ti based on titanium in a catalyst upon polymerization, contains ash in an amount not greater than 40 ppm by weight when analyzed by completely burning the polypropylene in air, said ash containing titanium in an amount not greater than 1 ppm by weight based on the weight of the polypropylene, and also contains chlorine in an amount not greater than 2 ppm by weight and boiling n-heptane soluble matter in an amount not smaller than 1 wt. % but not greater than 10 wt. %. To further improve the dielectric breakdown voltage an inorganic oxide or hydroxide free of particles of 10 .mu.m and greater in diameter and having an average particle size not greater than 1 .mu.m, an organopolysilane, a maleic-anhydride-grafted polypropylene, or a silane compound containing at least one organic polyether group can be added to the polypropylene.

Said high polymeric compound is formed by co-deposition of a tetracarboxylic acid anhydride compound and an aromatic diamine compound. The photoreceptor exhibits high sensitivity, high durability, and excellent image quality retention even when used repeatedly or in a high humidity environment.
