The backlight module includes a light source emitting a light beam and at least one light diffraction member. The light diffraction member includes a first surface, a second surface, an azimuth convergence structure and a light diffraction structure. The second surface is opposite the first surface, and the light beam enters the light diffraction member through the second surface and leaves the light diffraction member from the first surface. The azimuth convergence structure is disposed on the second surface for converging the azimuth of the light beam incident thereon. The light diffraction structure is disposed on the first surface for adjusting the emergence angle of the light beam.

A second line between the second intersection and the reference point intersects with the first line to form a second angle between 10 degrees to 30 degrees.

The lens is between the LED and the light guide bar and includes two opposite planar portions and two opposite arc-surface portions to surround a light-emitting axis. The planar portions are adjacent to each other and form a valley line aligned to the light-emitting axis at a junction of the planar portions. The planar portions respectively face the reflective layer and the light-emitting surface with respect to the valley line; thus, light provided by the LED is partially emitted toward the reflective layer and the light-emitting surface through the planar portions, respectively.
