摘要： There is described an image forming system, which confirms a finished state of an image at any time during the implementation of the image forming job as needed. The system includes: an image forming section to respectively form images on recording materials; a stacking section to stack the recording materials continuously ejected from the image forming section; an instruction inputting section from which an operator inputs instruction information; an ejecting section to stack a part of the recording materials in such a manner that the operator can pick up stacked recording materials by hand; a controlling section to conduct controlling operations in response to the instruction information, inputted from the instruction inputting section during an implementation of an image forming job including an operation for stacking the recording materials ejected from the image forming section, in order to eject the part of the recording materials onto the ejecting section.

摘要： An image forming apparatus is equipped with a document reading device for reading image data on a document at a reading section; a memory to store the image data therein, the memory capable of storing the image data of plural pages of documents; and an image recording system for recording an image on a recording sheet based on the image data stored in the memory. A recording sheet reversing system receives the recording sheet from the image recording system, wherein the image is recorded on one side of the recording sheet, reverses the recording sheet, and refeeds the reversed recording sheet to the image recording system without stacking the recording sheet, whereby another image is recorded on the other side of the recording sheet by the image recording system. A controller controls the document reading device and the image recording system such that, when images are recorded on both sides of a recording sheet by the recording sheet reversing system, after image data of a predetermined number of pages of documents are read by the image recording system and are stored in the memory, the image recording system starts recording images based on the image data stored in the memory simultaneously as the document reading device successively reads other pages of documents.

摘要： An image recording apparatus includes a memory for storing an image information of each page; an image forming device for recording an image onto a recording sheet for each page on the basis of the image information in the memory; a recording sheet conveyor for conveying a recording sheet to the image forming device to record an image on one side thereof, and after that, conveying again the recording sheet to the image forming device to record an image on another side thereof, with no recording sheet being stacked during conveyance, and the recording sheet being conveyed along a specified conveyance path, and a predetermined maximum number of recording sheets can exist within the specified conveyance path. The apparatus further includes a controller for controlling the image forming device and the recording sheet conveyor so that a cycle of an image forming operation corresponding to the maximum number of recording sheets is repeated until a remaining number of pages in the memory to be recorded is less than the maximum number of recording sheets.

摘要： An earth current leakage breaking circuit detects a current leakage in an AC line in a copying apparatus and breaks electrically the AC line. The circuit has a current difference detector which detects a difference in current between an incoming current and an outgoing current in AC lines which supply electric power from an AC power source to electrical loads in the apparatus. A control circuit which, when it detects an output signal from the current difference detector which continuously exceeds a reference level, turns off a relay provided to the AC lines. The control circuit has a timing generator which generates timings to start driving the loads, and a reference level generator which generates the reference level being variable in accordance with the generated timings.

摘要： A fail-safe apparatus for an image forming apparatus includes a central processing unit (CPU), a drive section or load, a disconnecting circuit, and a watchdog circuit. The CPU controls an image forming sequence. The drive section or load is controlled by the CPU through an input-output controller. The disconcerting circuit disconnects power supply to the drive section or load upon reception of a trigger signal. The watchdog circuit monitors an operation of the CPU so as to output a reset signal to the CPU and the input-output controller upon detection of an operation abnormality, and to output the trigger signal to the disconnecting circuit.
