    • In a method and apparatus for acquisition and evaluation of image data of an examination subject that are to be created with at least one imaging medical imaging apparatus, generation of a whole-body overview image of the examination subject is generated and selection of an anatomical region in the whole-body overview image is selected.     • In a method for creation of an overview of medical data sets, a plurality of medical data sets exist regarding a patient and the data sets are associated with categories, and an overview image of at least one part of the patient is generated by means of an imaging modality. A localization within the patient is associated with each of the data sets, and the overview image is shown on a display medium. Markings are generated and shown at points of the overview image that correspond to the localizations of the data sets. The categories that exist with regard to at least one of the points are likewise displayed.

    • An imaging apparatus is disclosed that displays an image acquired from an examination object. The apparatus includes an acquisition unit that determines image acquisition parameters and acquires the signal values of the examination object; a conversion unit that uses a transfer function to convert the acquired signal values into brightness values that are displayed in the image; a unit for extracting the image acquisition parameters; and a storage unit that has data records in which at least one transfer function is stored in relation to the image acquisition parameters. The conversion unit compares the image acquisition parameters with the image acquisition parameters stored in the storage unit and selects the transfer function as a function of the comparison.

    • A method for facilitating a stateless transmission of data between data sources and client devices may be provided. A message is received from each of the data sources. The message includes data obtained by the respective data source and data indicative of a destination address for the data. The destination address is associated with a client device of the client devices. For each message, the data is stored based on the destination address for the data. A request for data is received from one of the client devices. The request includes data indicative of an address associated with the one of the plurality of client devices. When the address associated with the one of the plurality of client devices corresponds to the destination address for any of the stored data, the stored data with the corresponding destination address is transmitted to the one of the client devices.
