    • An electrophotographic lithographic printing plate precursor having a photoconductive layer containing resin (A) having a weight average molecular weight of from 1.times.10.sup.3 to 2.times.10.sup.4 and containing a polymer component of the specified repeating unit and a polymer component having a polar group and dispersed resin grain (L) which is obtained by dispersion polymerization of monomer (C) containing a functional group capable of forming a carboxy group upon decomposition in the presence of a dispersion stabilizing resin soluble in a non-aqueous solvent and which has a silicon and/or fluorine atom-containing substituent.The electrophotographic lithographic printing plate precursor has good electrophotographic characteristics and water retentivity due to the suitable interaction between zinc oxide, a spectral sensitizing dye, the resin (A) and the dispersed resin grain (L) and provides a printing plater having excellent printing image and good printing durability even under severe conditions. Also, it is advantageously employed in the scanning exposure system using a semiconductor laser beam.

    • The invention provides an ink jet recording method that records an image by ejecting, onto a recording medium, an ink that is cured by irradiation of an active energy ray, the method comprising: applying an undercoating liquid onto the recording medium; half-curing the undercoating liquid; and forming an image by ejecting an ink onto the half-cured undercoating liquid, and an ink jet recording device. According to the ink jet recording method in the invention, ink bleeding can be effectively suppressed when using any type of non-absorbing recording media, a high degree of uniformity in an image between various recording media can be obtained, and unevenness in line width or color caused by mixing between the liquid droplets can be suppressed.

    • A direct drawing type lithographic printing plate precursor comprising a water-resistant support having provided thereon an image receiving layer, wherein the image receiving layer comprises particles having rough surface composed of core particles having on the surfaces thereof fine particles adhered, and a binder resin comprising a complex composed of a resin containing a siloxane bond in which a silicon atom is connected with an oxygen atom and an organic polymer containing a group capable of forming a hydrogen bond with the resin containing a siloxane bond.
