摘要： The present invention provides an oil separator that can improve oil separation performance with a simple structure. An oil separator 10 includes a casing 15 that has an inlet 11 and an outlet 12 and the oil separator 10 is configured to separate oil contained in blow-by gas 2 in the casing 15. The casing 15 includes therein multiple staggered partition walls 25, 35 to form a gas passage 40 through which the blow-by gas 2 flows in a meandering manner in a horizontal direction from the inlet 11 to the outlet 12, and a filter element 50 that partially closes the gas passage 40 and crosses the partition walls 25.

摘要： An oil separator separating mist oil from processing-target gas includes: a case, a first partition wall and a lower, second partition wall, both partitioning vertically an internal space of the case; a partition dividing a space between the first and second partition walls into an introduction path and a first chamber; a supply hole vertically penetrating the second partition wall from the introduction path to a separation chamber; a communication hole vertically penetrating the second partition wall from the first chamber to the separation chamber; a rotor in the separation chamber; a center-side space in a center part of the rotor, the center-side space communicating with the supply hole through an open, upper part of the center-side space. The rotor separates the mist oil from the processing-target gas flowing from the center-side space to an outer periphery of the rotor, where the separated oil is emitted. The processing-target gas flows into the first chamber through the communication hole.

摘要： An oil separator configured to separate from gas mist oil contained in target gas of the present invention is aimed to enhance separation efficiency of oil mist contained in target gas while reducing the weight of the separation disks. The oil separator of the present invention includes a rotor. This rotor has a plurality of separation disks 34 (61, 62) layered along the axis line of the spindle. Each of the separation disks 34 are configured with truncated cone shape plate members and have formed concavo-convex ribs 64, 65 extending from the rotational center in the radiation direction on the outer peripheral side parts 61b, 62b corresponding to the inclined surfaces of the truncated cone. The concavo-convex ribs 64, 65 include first convex portions 66 and second convex portions 67 where the first convex portions 66 include on the outer peripheral side parts 61b, 62b a convex on the front surface side and a concave on the back surface side, and the second convex portions 67 include on the outer peripheral side parts 61b, 62b a convex on the back surface side and a concave on the front surface side.
