The system comprises: at least two spatial light pre-modulators; and, a primary spatial light modulator, each of the at least two spatial light pre-modulators configured to vary illuminating light colours spatially across the primary spatial prime modulator simultaneously with at least two of the illuminating light colours, and the primary spatial light modulator configured to form the illuminating light colours into images and turn on pixels of each of the at least two of the illuminating light colours simultaneously in synchronization with the at least two spatial light pre-modulators.

摘要： A system and method for displaying layered images is provided. A rear display element displays a first image including a background. A transmissive display element displays a third image and a fourth image, the third image being displayed contemporaneously with the first image. The transmissive display element has a front surface and a rear surface. The rear surface is placed a predetermined distance from the rear display element such that images displayed by the rear display element and by the transmissive display element can be viewable through the front surface of the transmissive display element. A lighting element provides backlight illumination to the transmissive display element contemporaneously with the fourth image. The lighting element can provide the backlight illumination by having the system display a second image at the rear display element for transmitting a backlight illumination from the rear display element contemporaneously with the fourth image.

摘要： A method, system and apparatus for automatically determining operating conditions of a periodically poled lithium niobate crystal in a laser system are provided. The system comprise: a laser; a periodic poled lithium niobate (PPLN) crystal for receiving laser input from the laser; a temperature control device for adjusting the temperature of the PPLN crystal; a temperature sensor for monitoring the temperature of the PPLN crystal; and a computing device. While the PPLN crystal is receiving laser input, temperature of the PPLN crystal is changed using the temperature control device. The computing device monitors the temperature of the PPLN crystal and corresponding power of the temperature control device during the changing, the temperature monitored using the temperature sensor. The computing device determines one or more of operating conditions of the temperature control device and an operating temperature of the PPLN crystal from a function of the power vs. the temperature.

The sheet is semi-transparent and has an image thereat, at least at the lens-facing front side. The image is located at about the focal plane of the lens. The device further includes at least one lamp located at the back side of the sheet, the sheet being between the collimating lens and the at least one lamp. The at least one lamp is configured to emit light towards the back side of the sheet, at least a portion of the light transmitted through the sheet towards the collimating lens.
