    • Loudspeaker system including a housing and at least four transducers arranged therein. Each transducer includes a substantially circular diaphragm and the diaphragms are constructed with specific sizes such that the ratio of a diameter of each diaphragm to the diameter of an immediately larger diaphragm is between 1:1 and 1: Phi2(Phi=(1+√5)/2), preferably 1:Phi, and the ratio of the diameter of each diaphragm to an immediately smaller diaphragm, is between 1:1 and 1:(1/Phi), preferably 1:1/Phi. Moreover, the diaphragms are arranged such that centers thereof lie on a spiral, clockwise or counterclockwise, in ascending size order with the center of the smallest diaphragm being closest to the pole of the spiral. A microphone and single-diaphragm loudspeaker in which the diaphragm has a spiral shape are also disclosed.

    • A printing system comprises a host device like a personal computer (PC) which creates print data (GDI data) based on an application, and selects through which a conversion process either a first conversion process of converting the data into PDL data or a second conversion process of converting the data into image data should be executed based on the performance of the host device connected to a printing device, the kind of the application, and the like when performing the conversion process on the print data and transmitting the converted data to a printing device, and further selects the conversion process based on a command in GDI data, a data size, and the like, thereby automatically selecting the most efficient printing scheme, and the printing device which prints out the print data transmitted from the host device.

    • Axial flux alternator for a wind turbine arrangement includes at least one magnetic disk including magnets and at least one coil disk including electromagnetic assemblies. One or both disks are mounted to wind turbines such that adjacent disks rotate in opposite directions, or such that the magnets of a magnetic disk move relative to the electromagnetic assemblies of an adjacent coil disk which may move or be stationary, or vice versa. Between adjacent disks, rolling elements on one disk roll, slide or move on or against the surface of the opposite disk in order to fix and maintain air gaps between the magnets on a magnetic disk and magnetic cores of the electromagnetic assemblies on the coil disk, and thus enable continued motion and use of the alternator.
