Each chamber is in fluid communication with the valve cap opening (or cylinder internal gas passages) via an associated choke tube. Each pairing of a chamber with a choke tube is tuned, in the manner of a Helmholz resonator, to attenuate and nearly eliminate a different cylinder-related pulsation frequency, such as those resulting from internal cylinder pulsations or cylinder nozzle pulsations.

摘要： A computer-implemented method of determining the stress state associated with a geological fault is described. The source data comprises measured fault displacement values, or proxy displacement values, associated with the fault. An error function calculates error as a function of normalized fault displacement and normalized slip tendency. Candidate stress states are used to determine slip tendency values, which are used in the error function to calculate an error value. This value is minimized to determine the “best” candidate stress state.

An arrangement of fold mirrors is used to receive light from the platen and fold the optical path twice before reaching the imagers. The reader has multiple imagers, each imager having at least an imaging lens and an image sensor. Each imager is configured so that the image plane of the image sensor is tilted relative to the optical axis of the imaging lens, such that keystone distortion in the fingerprint image is corrected.

An example method comprises: measuring a stator current of the doubly fed induction machine, measuring a rotor current of the doubly fed induction machine, calculating a total magnetic flux density in an airgap of the doubly fed induction machine, calculating a tangential force density, calculating an electromagnetic torque, repeating the calculation of the electromagnetic torque over one electrical cycle to estimate a torque pulsation, determining a new rotor current that substantially eliminates the torque pulsation by referencing a set of optimal rotor currents in a look-up table, and changing the rotor current in response to the determination. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
