    • Methods and apparatuses are provided for obtaining downlink or uplink signal characteristics of at least one access point in a network. The signal characteristics may be obtained through user equipment receiving the signal characteristics, through the at least one access point, or through another access point. Frequency or timing offset between two or more access points may be determined based on the obtained signal characteristics, where the frequency or timing offset may be handled through post processing. For example, a clock servo may be controlled or adjusted in response to the determined offset, the absolute frequency of a master network oscillator may be calibrated, traffic anomalies within the network may be detected and corrected, and/or respective clocks of the two or more access points may be synchronized.

    • An internal antenna for attaching to a terminal housing is disclosed. The antenna includes: a perpendicular structure formed in a perpendicular direction to a substrate and positioned in contact with an inner wall of a housing; a first conductive member electrically connected to a power feed and joined to the perpendicular structure to extend in a perpendicular direction to the substrate; and a second conductive member electrically connected to a ground, joined to the perpendicular structure, and separated by a particular distance from the first conductive member to extend in a perpendicular direction to the substrate. The first conductive member is joined to the inner wall of the housing to extend in a first direction orthogonal to the perpendicular direction, and the second conductive member is joined to the inner wall of the housing to extend in the first direction at a particular distance from the first conductive member.

    • A lubricant supplying device of an endoscope everting tube drive comprises a drive tube everted at least once to thus form an outer and an inner tube portion. Inside the inner tube portion an endoscope shaft is mounted in an axially displaceable manner. The lubricant supply line and the lubricant discharge are connected to the drive device in two locations thereof diametrically opposite with respect to the endoscope shaft.

    • Methods, systems, devices and computer programs for configuring nodes on a wireless network can include generating a security key for the network, setting the security settings on the access point based on the security key, and saving the security key in a profile data file on a removable memory device along with a portable configuration utility for using the profile data file for configuring other nodes on the network. The removable memory device can then be inserted into other nodes and the portable configuration utility can be run to match the same key on the other network nodes based on the information stored in the profile data file on the removable memory device.
