摘要： Methods and systems are provided for assessing the presence of functionally significant stenosis in one or more coronary arteries, further known as a severity of vessel obstruction. The methods and systems can implement a prediction phase that comprises segmenting at least a portion of a contrast enhanced volume image data set into data segments corresponding to wall regions of the target organ, and analysing the data segments to extract features that are indicative of an amount of perfusion experiences by wall regions of the target organ. The methods and systems can obtain a feature-perfusion classification (FPC) model derived from a training set of perfused organs, classify the data segments based on the features extracted and based on the FPC model, and provide, as an output, a prediction indicative of a severity of vessel obstruction based on the classification of the features.

The map can be displayed or evaluated to select at least one candidate perspective to utilize to acquire or obtain a combination of complementary projection images.

摘要： A method is provided for flow analysis in a target volume of a moving organ, which involves a sequence of first volumetric image data sets that include structural information and three-directional velocity information of the target volume and a sequence of second volumetric image data sets that include structural information of the target volume. The method involves tracking a feature of interest within the sequence of the second volumetric data sets, determining time varying spatial orientation of a plane containing the feature of interest in the sequence of the first volumetric image data sets by transferring the plane from the second volumetric image data sets to the first volumetric image data sets, reformatting the three-directional velocity information into one-directional velocity information on the plane, and performing bi-dimensional quantitative flow analysis using the one-directional velocity information. A corresponding apparatus and computer program are also disclosed and claimed.

The method generates a 3D surface reconstruction of the object from 2D images of the object obtained from different perspectives. A point of interest can be specified in at least one of the used 2D images and an area of interest can be specified in the object where the point of interest lies within. A plane containing view directions with reduced foreshortening for the specified area of interest is generated and a 3D point corresponding to the specified point of interest is determined on the 3D surface reconstruction of the object. At least one particular view direction corresponding to the 3D point and located with the identified plane is considered as the optimal image viewing direction of the asymmetrical object. A corresponding apparatus and computer program are also disclosed.

摘要： A method for co-registration of angiography and intravascular images is described in which intravascular images are in the form of a sequence of images obtained from an intravascular imaging device which is pulled back through a vessel. The method includes generating a three-dimensional reconstruction of the trajectory of the intravascular device within the vessel from two or more bi-dimensional angiography images of such vessel which have been obtained from different perspectives. The method also includes determining a first position of an element of the device within the 3D reconstruction of the trajectory and correlating the position of such element with a correspondent point in the reconstructed trajectory during pull back. Further, the method includes correlating each intravascular image of the sequence with a corresponding spatial position within at least one of the bi-dimensional angiography images. A corresponding system and computer program are also described.
