摘要： An actuating system for a window shade includes a rotary axle, a cord winding assembly and a limiting mechanism. The cord winding assembly is coupled to the rotary axle and is connected with a plurality of suspension cords, the rotary axle being rotatable to cause the cord winding assembly to wind and unwind the suspension cords for displacing a movable rail of a window shade. The limiting mechanism includes a latch coupled to one of the suspension cords, the latch being movable between a locking state for preventing rotation of the rotary axle and an unlocking state for rotation of the rotary axle, the limiting mechanism being configured so that tensioning and loosening of the one of the suspension cords causes the latch to switch between the locking state and the unlocking state.

摘要： A motorized window treatment for controlling the amount of daylight entering a space through a window includes a covering material, a drive shaft, and a motor coupled to the drive shaft for raising and lowering the covering material. The window treatment also includes a spring assist unit for assisting the motor by providing a torque that equals the torque provided by the weight on the cords that lift the covering material at a position midway between fully-open and fully-closed positions to minimize motor usage and conserve battery life. The window treatment may comprise a photosensor for measuring the amount of daylight outside the window and temperature sensors for measuring the temperatures inside and outside of the window. The position of the covering material may be automatically controlled in response to the photosensor and the temperature sensors, or in response to an infrared or radio-frequency remote control.

摘要： A louver-blind double glazed window unit comprises a frame structure defining first and second faces of the unit, and outer side and inner sides. A first window is mounted to the first face of the unit and a second window is mounted to the second face of the unit. An inner chamber is defined between the frame structure and the first and second windows. A plurality of louver members extends within the chamber and are pivotally mounted to the frame. An actuator assembly is positioned within the chamber and is in operative communication with the plurality of louver members for imparting a pivot movement thereto between open and closed positions. An inner magnet is positioned at the inner side of the frame structure. An external manual operator is movably positioned on the outer side of the frame structure and comprises an outer magnet interfacing with the inner magnet via the frame structure for magnetic communication therewith. A movement of the external manual operator along a length of the outer side of the frame causes the inner magnet to move in tandem with the outer magnet actuating the actuator assembly to impart the pivot movement to the plurality of louver members.
