摘要： A process is disclosed for a spinning arrangement for dealing with the correction of an end break. During operation, sliver-like fiber material fed to the spinning arrangement is opened to single fibers by means of an opening roller. The single fibers are then transferred in the form of a fiber veil to a suctioned collecting surface, which is driven in the direction of motion of the single fibers. During the transport of the fibers by means of the collecting surface, the fiber veil is condensed to a narrow fiber strand and the condensed fiber strand is spun to a yarn downstream of a nipping line by means of a twisting nozzle. When an end-break occurs, the material feed is interrupted and the fiber strand is suctioned in the area of the nipping line until the collecting surface is free from single fibers. A piecing operation subsequently takes place.

摘要： An arrangement for mounting a suction tube on a fly frame, roving frame, ring spinning machine or the like for collecting broken ends of yarn at the outlet rollers of the machine. The suction tube has a suction end and an opposite end connected through a flexible sealing sleeve to a collection chamber, with the sleeve permitting the suction tube to pivot between different positions. A mounting rod is secured to and extends between the stanchions of the machine frame intermediate the collection chamber and the outlet rollers, and a support arrangement is mounted on the rod and includes a retaining mechanism for positioning the suction tube and releasably retaining it in an operative position in which the suction end is proximal the outlet rollers and an inoperative position in which the suction end is spaced from the outlet rollers. In one embodiment the suction tube is pivotally mounted on one arm of the support and releasably retained in a slot in another arm of the support. In another embodiment the suction tube is fixed to the support and the support pivots on the rod, being releasably retained in operative and inoperative positions by a ball detent mechanism or by cooperating surface engagement between the support and the rod.
