摘要： An automated system is provided for aligning a vehicle tow ball with a tow cup of a trailer. The vehicle has a controller connected to at least some of the vehicle steering, transmission and braking systems to enable the controller automatically to steer and/or move and/or brake the vehicle. Sensors at the rear of the vehicle detect the presence of an object within a region behind the vehicle. The sensors are connected to the controller to utilize the data from the sensors to identify the tow cup of a trailer located within the region behind the vehicle, and to control the reversing of the vehicle in order to bring the tow ball into alignment beneath the identified tow cup so as to facilitate coupling of the tow cup onto the tow ball.

摘要： A load levelling device for adjusting the pitch of a first towing vehicle relative to a ground surface when the first towed vehicle is coupled to a second towed vehicle includes: a towing pillar having a longitudinal axis; a towing tongue adapted for attachment to the first towing vehicle and mounted on the towing pillar for sliding engagement therewith; a clutch housing radially supported on the towing pillar beneath the towing tongue for sliding engagement with the towing pillar, the clutch housing including a blade recess in a lateral portion thereof, the blade recess extending orthogonally to the longitudinal axis of the towing pillar; a tensioning blade having a leading end and a trailing end, the leading end adapted for being removably securable in the blade recess of the clutch housing and the trailing end being adapted for attachment to the second towed vehicle; and a user operational force application device for selectively applying a vertical force to the trailing edge of the tensioning blade. An upwardly applied force on the trailing edge of the tensioning blade imparts a counter-clockwise moment to the tensioning blade, which counter-clockwise moment is transmitted through the clutch housing, the towing pillar and the towing tongue, so as to level the pitch of a first towing vehicle to which the load levelling device is attached, relative to the ground surface.

In one embodiment, the weight distributing trailer hitch can further include a spring bar vertically pivotal relative to the hitch portion, and an adjustment mechanism actuatable to selectively adjust a tilt angle of the spring bar relative to the hitch portion to vary preload on the spring bar and adjustably distribute weight of the trailer relative to the vehicle. In another embodiment, the weight distributing trailer hitch can further include a spring bar for distributing weight of the trailer relative to the vehicle, and a load measurement device to determine a magnitude of a downward force on the hitch ball.

The mount features a hitch coupler for mating with a single-point hitch of the vehicle to reach longitudinally therefrom, and a guide frame defining at least one guide slot lying transverse to the longitudinal direction of the hitch coupler in an upright orientation. At least one link arm is pivotally supported on the hitch coupler, and an implement carrier is coupled to the link arm proximate a rear end thereof. A follower arrangement is engaged between the link arm and the guide slot to constrain movement of the implement carrier to movement along the guide slot. Pivotal movement of the link arm in a first direction lifts the implement carrier along the guide slot, while pivotal moment in a second direction lowers the implement carrier along the guide slot.

A bracket is attached to the sleeve and is attached to the support to vertically orientate the sleeve. A piston is positioned in the sleeve and extends outwardly of the bottom end. The piston has a lower end that is moveable toward or away from the bottom end. An actuator is mounted on the sleeve and is mechanically coupled to the piston. The actuator is actuated in a first direction to lower the lower end and actuated in a second direction to raise the lower end. A ball mount is removably attached to the piston adjacent to the lower end. A hitch ball is attached to the ball mount and engages a hitch coupler of a trailer.

摘要： A towed implement for use with a work machine includes a main frame having a pivot hole and at least one hitch mounting hole. A hitch frame is coupled with the main frame and includes a towed end. The hitch frame is pivotable relative to the main frame about a pivot axis at the pivot hole. The hitch frame includes a chamber having an interior periphery with a plurality of notches. A height adjustment arrangement is associated with the main frame and the hitch frame for adjusting a height of the hitch frame. The height adjustment arrangement includes a stop key positioned within the chamber of the hitch frame. The stop key has a hole arranged for receiving a fastener associated with the at least one hitch mounting hole, a cam surface, and at least one tooth extending from the cam surface. Each tooth is received in a corresponding notch.
