摘要： A razor blade body in the form of a cartridge structure includes a guard member assembled thereon forward of, and extending parallel to, the blade or blades. The guard is of a two part molded structure having an upper portion of elastomeric material with a plurality of upwardly projecting protrusions formed thereon and a lower base portion of rigid plastic material having a downwardly projecting V-shaped cross-sectional portion. A pair of upwardly projecting elements are disposed in spaced relation forming a recess on the blade cartridge structure for receiving the V-shaped base portion therebetween and a latch means disposed in the recess retains the guard member in the assembled position.

摘要： An appliance for removing hairs growing from skin is provided with a clamping device and a cutting device cooperating therewith. The clamping device clamps the hairs to be removed and subsequently extracts them at least partly from the skin, whereupon the hairs extracted partly from the skin are cut through adjacent the skin by the cutting device. The hairs thus cut through return to below the surface of the skin, so that a smooth shaving result is achieved which remains intact during a considerable period. According to the invention, the appliance is provided with structure for adjusting an extraction distance over which the clamping device extracts the hairs from the skin before they are cut through by the cutting device. In a special embodiment, the structure is adjustable to a first mode in which the appliance purely has a shaving function and to a second mode in which the appliance purely has a depilation function.

The shaving apparatus may be implemented with the hair erecting device attached to the handle and the cutter device in the form of a replaceable cartridge. A rear roller may be mounted behind the cutter device for dispensing a chemical composition onto the skin of the user.

摘要： A dry shaver with a skin stretcher comprises a shaver body and a shaving head mounted on top of the shaver body. The shaving head comprises at least one cutter unit with a perforated outer cutter. An inner cutter is driven to move in hair shearing engagement with the outer cutter. The skin stretcher comprises a skin contact elongated along the periphery of the outer cutter and a base through which the skin contact is held on the shaving head. A macro displacement structure is provided to allow the skin contact to be movable within a macro displacement range relative to the shaver body. The skin contact is made from an elastic material capable of being elastically deformed within a micro displacement range relative to the base. With the combination of the macro and micro displacements of the skin contact, the skin contact can be kept in contact with the skin of a user in conformity with various contours of the skin. Thus, the skin stretcher can stretch a large portion of the skin even with an uneven skin surface, i.e., around the chin or the like to raise the hairs over a wide area prior to the shaving by the cutter unit, thereby assuring smooth and effective hair shaving at the cutter unit.

The working surface of the comb-shaving section adjoins the working surface of the shear-shaving section and projects laterally therefrom, the plane defined by the working surface of the comb-shaving section forming an obtuse angle with the plane tangent to the working surface of the shear-shaving section at the location where the two shaving sections adjoin each other. The rigid cutter of the comb-shaving section is supported by the cutter unit support by means of at least one spring.
