摘要： A parallel flow filter-in-filter design for a filter system is provided. The filter-in-filter design provides two distinctly parallel or independent flow paths within a filter assembly in a single housing or shell. The filter assembly includes a first outer filter element radially spaced apart from a second inner filter element. A centertube and a funnel shaped passageway housed within the centertube are provided in a space between the first outer filter element and the second inner filter element. The centertube and funnel shaped passageway work in tandem to provide two distinct parallel or independent flow paths within the filter assembly. The funnel shaped passageway is provided generally below the second inner filter element within the centertube.

In some embodiments, at least portions of an inlet pipe and an outlet manifold can be positioned within the filter tank. At least one manifold assembly can be coupled to the outlet manifold and also can be positioned within the filter tank. In some embodiments, the manifold assembly can include at least one first aperture, at least one second aperture, and at least one first cavity positioned within the manifold assembly. In some embodiments, the second aperture can fluidly connect the first cavity and the outlet manifold. Also, at least one filter can be coupled to the manifold assembly so that the first aperture fluidly connects the filter to the first cavity.

Each set of manifold holes is composed of an inlet, a first outlet and a second outlet. The first outlet of the first set of manifold holes communicates with the inlet of the second set of manifold holes. The manifold integration board further has four sets of cartridge connection holes formed in a bottom thereof and each set is composed of a first inlet, a second inlet and an outlet. The first and second inlets of two sets of the four sets of cartridge connection holes respectively communicate with the first and second outlets of the first set of manifold holes. The inlets of the two sets of cartridge connection holes respectively communicate with the outlets of the first set of manifold holes. The first and second inlets of the other two sets of cartridge connection holes respectively communicate with the first and second outlets of the second set of manifold holes, and the inlets of the two sets of cartridge connection holes respectively communicate with the outlets of the second set of manifold holes through connection holes inside the manifold integration board. At least one filter cartridge is mounted on a bottom of the manifold integration board. The present invention can conveniently and accurately connect multiple filter cartridges in serial, in parallel or both.

摘要： A stormwater treatment system includes water treatment media that defines a helical flow path within a conduit. The water treatment media may include a plurality of helical water treatment media components that are constructed and arranged to seal against an inside surface of the conduit. The individual helical water treatment media components may be installed in situ within the conduit when the conduit is positioned within a chamber having an access opening, and periodically removed and replaced by passing the components to the access opening. The components further may have a flexible frame, which allows the water treatment media to dynamically adjust to swelling of the filtration media and other forces that may occur during use. The performance of the system may be adjusted by adjusting the helical pitch of the helical water treatment media components.
