摘要： A balanced mixer circuit (300, 400, 500, 600, 700 and 800) in a baseband receiver (202) includes an oscillator circuit (212), a mixer (214 and 215), a digital-to-analog converter (258 and 259) and a digital signal processor (250). The mixer includes CMOS devices (301, 302, 303 and 304). In response to differential outputs from the mixer, the digital signal processor controls the digital-to-analog converter to output bias voltages for the gate of at least one of the CMOS devices of the mixer to compensate for imbalance in the differential output of the mixer that may be caused by mismatch among two or more CMOS devices of the mixer or caused by other reasons, in order to increase second order intercept point of the mixer.

A reference generator generates a reference clock, which is fed to the converters or PLL synthesizers of the mixer by integral multiplication or division. As a result, a particularly energy-saving and space-saving circuit configuration is realized, which has a low level of mutual interference between the signals and is suitable (in particular for Universal Mobile Telecommunication System, UMTS). In a preferred embodiment, the receiver is developed into a transceiver by providing a transmission path.

摘要： A direct conversion receiver for providing a direct conversion of a radio frequency signal having a carrier frequency comprises a local oscillator for substantially equal frequency to the carrier, and a semiconductor integrated circuit mounting mixers and amplifiers for amplifying inputs to the mixer. The amplifiers amplify the local oscillation signals and/or radio frequency signal inputted from the outside of the semiconductor integrated circuit and supply the amplified signals to the mixers. The mixers mix these inputted signals and output the mixed signals to the outside of the semiconductor integrated circuit. By thus forming the receiver, radiation of the local oscillation signals to outside of the receiver and leakage inside thereof can be suppressed.

The voltage utilized for switching is obtained from the output of an oscillator which is synchronized by and with the received signal, if such signal is within the passband of a narrow band pass filter. A noise rejection system may use two circuit arrangements of this type having center frequencies differing slightly. Output may be taken from the common (unswitched) side of the two capacitors, or from the independent (switched) sides thereof, as desired.

摘要： A tuning circuit comprises an antenna winding inductively coupled to a first inductor, which in turn is inductively coupled to a second inductor. A local oscillator circuit induces a signal in said second inductor, which signal tends to cause an unwanted signal to be induced in the first inductor and ultimately in the antenna winding. Means are provided to operatively couple the second inductor and the antenna winding to induce in the latter a second signal in opposite phase to the unwanted signal, thereby to substantially cancel the unwanted signal in the antenna winding.
