摘要： When male and female housings are attached to each other, a side projection of a locking arm contacts and presses a side engaging part to bend the locking arm in a specific amount and overlap a side projection of the locking arm with a projection of the male housing. At this time, a main engaging part contacts and presses downward a main projection of the locking arm. Then, since the projection of the male housing is under the side projection, the locking arm is temporarily supported at both sides and bent in a bow shape vertically. Then, after the male housing is inserted into the female housing further, the bend of the locking arm is released, and simultaneously the main projection and the main engaging part engage with each other to complete the attachment between the male and female housings.

There is provided a safety latch means including a latch member adapted to be inserted into the plug or socket body to protect, to shield, to hold, to pass through, to engage or to affix the overcurrent-protection device or a base carrying the overcurrent-protection device, so as to prevent the overcurrent-protection device from being removed or slipping off, to improved the contact performance between the overcurrent-protection device and the contact terminals for connecting the overcurrent-protection device into a circuit, and thus to realize the maximum degree of safety of the electrical plug or socket. The safety latch means can be readily removed from the plug or socket for quick and inexpensive replacement of the overcurrent-protection device. The electrical plug or socket according to this invention is convenient and safe being especially adapted for an unskilled person to use, constituting an advantageous electrical connection device for being plugged into a receptacle or, as a socket, receiving another plug.

摘要： An uninsulated contact array of resilient electrically conducting metal with bridging strips at each end to hold multiple conductors in predetermined spaced relation to each other. The bridging strips permit terminal tips at one end of the conductors to be stabbed into a circuit board simultaneously, for subsequent soldering. The other ends of the conductors, having contact ends, are maintained in spaced apart relation by a second bridging strip, the conductors and contacts permitting threading the contact ends simultaneously into multiple recesses of a display holder socket. The display holder socket is so arranged, that curving the resilient conductors increases the contact pressure of the contacts by bowing them. Resilient mounting arms of the contact holder provide for shock proof mounting of the contact holder in a casing by clamping the resilient arms between the casing and cover of an instrument housing.
