摘要： The invention relates to an adhesive composition, in particular intended for use in or as wallpaper paste, which comprises: an adhesive; an odour-substance-releasing constituent that contains at least one odour substance and at least one carrier constituent. The adhesive composition is in a form which is suitable for mixing with water by an end user with the formation of a ready-to-use aqueous composition. Such a form is a dry form, such as the form of a powder or granules. Furthermore, in the odour-releasing constituent used, at least one odour substance is associated with the carrier constituent in such a way that the odour substance is essentially released from the odour-substance-releasing composition only when the latter comes into contact with water. The carrier constituent is preferably selected from cyclodextrins and cyclodextrin derivatives.

The method of the present invention also includes a method of improving the aqueous solution stability of amylose and amylose hydrolyzates by introducing one or more alpha 1-6 glycosidic linkages so as to branch one or more molecules of amylose or hydrolyzate thereof.

The invention further relates to a method for transforming such a protoplast of cassava or closely related species, and transformed protoplasts obtainable thereby. In addition, the invention concerns a method for regenerating plants from these protoplasts and a cassava plant or closely related species obtainable thereby. Starch isolated from tubers of such cassava plants have an increased amylopectin content. The starch and a method for isolating it from said plants also forms part of the invention.

摘要： A paste of starch derivative is crosslinked by irradiation with y-rays or electron beams in a dose of 0.1-200 kGy. Two different levels of crosslinking are performed; the first is mild crosslinking by irradiation at a low dose of 0.1-1.0 kGy to such an extent that the viscosity of the overall system increases upon immersion in water, and the second is intensive crosslinking by irradiation at a higher dose than 1.0 kGy to produce a gel that is completely insoluble in water.
