    • A method in a network node is disclosed. The method comprises grouping a plurality of antenna ports corresponding to a plurality of channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS) into at least a first CSI-RS antenna port group and a second CSI-RS antenna port group, and determining, based at least in part on one or more criteria, a first transmission periodicity for the first CSI-RS antenna port group and a second transmission periodicity for the second CSI-RS antenna port group. The method further comprises transmitting, to one or more user equipment, the CSI-RS corresponding to the antenna ports in the first CSI-RS antenna port group according to the determined first transmission periodicity, and transmitting, to the one or more user equipment, the CSI-RS corresponding to the antenna ports in the second CSI-RS antenna port group according to the determined second transmission periodicity.

    • One embodiment is directed towards a distributed antenna system (DAS). The DAS includes a host unit a plurality of remote units communicatively coupled to the host unit. The plurality of remote units are configured to implement a common arrangement of resource blocks for uplink transport signals. The host unit is configured to instruct a subset of the plurality of remote units to send a digital sample stream over a monitor path of their respective uplink transport signals. One or more simulcast modules are configured to sum the monitor paths from the respective uplink transport signals to generate a summed digital sample stream, the one or more simulcast modules configured to send the summed digital sample stream to the host unit. The host unit is configured to provide a signal based on the summed digital sample stream to one or more signal analysis modules.

    • The present invention relates to the technical field of radio communications, and specifically relates to a method, device, and system for transmitting a reference signal, for use in solving the problem in the prior art that vertical-dimension channel estimation cannot be supported and thus 3D beamforming is not supported. The method of embodiments of the present invention comprises: a network side determines a subframe (31) used for bearing the reference signal, determines a pilot frequency port (32) of the reference signal, and transmits in the determined subframe the reference signal configured in the pilot frequency port, where all of the pilot frequency ports comprise at least one row of horizontal-dimension pilot frequency ports and one column of vertical-dimension pilot frequency ports, the reference signal configured in the horizontal-dimension pilot frequency ports is a horizontal-dimension reference signal, and the reference signal configured on the vertical-dimension pilot frequency ports is a vertical-dimension reference signal (33). Because the embodiments of the present invention are capable of transmitting the vertical-dimension reference signal, implementation of channel estimation on the vertical-dimension pilot frequency ports is allowed, and implementation of a dynamic 3D beamforming technology is allowed.
