摘要： A folded down support (12) allows for stronger solar panels (10) and the support replaces most of the solar racking required for solar installation which further reduces the cost of the photovoltaic solar system. The solar panels (10) can be arranged so that solar panels form a solar collector solar panel array. The solar panel (10) can be set on a surface by itself or with ballast (43). It can also be attached to the surface by fastening the solar panel to the side supports. If the solar panel frame and supports are electrically conductive, the design allows for self electrical grounding between these conductive parts when the side supports are pivoted to the down position. The folded up support allows for high density storage and shipping.

摘要： The present invention provides a mounting unit for solar panels that simplifies the complexity of storage, transit and in-field installation of solar electric generation systems. According to one embodiment, the mounting unit comprises a top panel, a bottom panel and a pair of panel guides, each formed integral with and adjacent to an opposing side of the top panel. Each panel guide includes a horizontal portion for supporting a solar panel and a vertical portion for providing an air channel between a bottom surface of the solar panel and an upper surface of the top panel. The air channel enables natural convection to cool the solar panel and optionally a power conversion device used within the system, thereby improving the solar conversion efficiency of the system. An improved method for installing a solar electric generation system is also provided herein.

Accordingly, the pointer can always be positioned over two of the plurality of solar cells, and therefore a decrease of light-receiving area due to the pointer can be distributed between the two solar cells. As a result, a decrease in the output current of the plurality of solar cells over which the pointer is positioned can be suppressed, and the output current of the entire plurality of solar cells can be improved.

Bump conductors (28) are bonded to corresponding bonding pads (28A) coupled to the thermopile (7,8) to physically and electrically connect the chip to conductors on a printed circuit board (23). The silicon substrate transmits infrared radiation to the thermopile while blocking visible light.

摘要： A sensor assembly for a flame sensor apparatus includes a photodiode that generates a current. The sensor assembly includes a seal assembly supporting the photodiode. The seal assembly includes an inner conductor defining an inner conductor end. The inner conductor includes an inner conductor surface disposed at the inner conductor end. The photodiode is attached to the inner conductor end of the inner conductor and to a middle conductor end of a middle conductor. The photodiode is electrically connected to the inner conductor surface. The seal assembly is triaxial so as to protect the current generated by the photodiode. The seal assembly withstands temperatures up to or greater than about 325° C. The seal assembly forms a hermetic barrier that, with the photodiode supported within a sealed volume, limits the passage of materials/gases through the seal assembly.
