    • A trigger-brake structure for tool machine comprises a trigger device and a brake device arranged in a machine base, in which the trigger device is employed for starting a power switch while the brake device for constraining the power transmission. The trigger-brake structure for tool machine is characterized in that a transmission axle for power transmission is arranged in the machine base; a leverage trigger of the trigger device will apply force to another lever in the brake device when the trigger is rotated to move a self-restoring switch to therefore start the power of the machine base; and, the brake device is comprised of a flange of a spring for receiving a force applied by the trigger through a lever so that the stretch degree of a spring leaf surrounding the transmission axle can be controlled by the trigger device to thereby change the frictional force of contact surface between the spring leaf and the transmission axle.

    • Supplemental walk along control for walkie/rider pallet trucks is provided by supplemental controllers such as jog and coast release switches and/or twist grips (or other drive motor speed controllers) provided adjacent the base of load carrying forks. The supplemental controllers are enabled during coasting operation so that operators can advance to the base of the forks to accelerate the trucks between closely spaced picks located along substantially straight portions of pick routes. For application of the trucks' brakes, the operators activate the coast release switches to release the coast mode and enable deadman brake mechanisms to brake the trucks and/or by plug braking with the twist grips. A steering direction detector is provided to determine the direction of the steered wheel so that if the steered wheel is not directed substantially straight ahead, then operation of the truck from the supplemental controls is disabled.

    • There are provided, together with two microswitches 20 accommodated in a cylindrical compartment 13, a manipulation member 2 which can freely swing about a pivot portion 2a in the directions of arrows A and B, a transmission member 3 which can freely move in reciprocating motion within a specific range between a transmitting position and a non-transmitting position located along a radial direction of an arc which is the trajectory of the swing motion of the manipulation member 2 in the directions of the arrows A and B, a contact member 4 which can freely move in reciprocating motion within a specific range between an exposed position and a retracted position in the directions of arrows E and F, a driven member 5 which can freely move in reciprocating motion in the directions of arrows G and H, and a restricting part 6 fixed at a position opposing the contact member 4. The swing motion of the manipulation member 2 in the direction of the arrow B up to a point where the manipulation member 2 goes into contact with the restricting part 6 is transmitted to the microswitches 20 via the transmission member 3 and the driven member 5, and the swing motion of the manipulation member 2 in the direction of the arrow B is not transmitted to the microswitches 20 after the contact member 4 has gone into contact with the restricting part 6. This arrangement makes it possible to achieve improved operability of an enable switch, enhanced safety with the provision of multiple contact mechanisms, and easier installation of the enable switch on a portable operator panel.
