    • According to an aspect, a transflective display device, includes a first substrate on which a first orientation film and a plurality of reflective electrodes formed for each of pixels are provided; a second substrate on which a second orientation film and a transparent electrode that is opposite to the reflective electrodes are provided; and a liquid crystal layer including a plurality of liquid crystal molecules provided between the first substrate and the second substrate. A direction of long axis of the liquid crystal molecules is parallel to surfaces of the first and second orientation films and twisted between the first substrate and the second substrate. The reflective electrode is configured to perform reflective display, and a space between the reflective electrodes of the adjacent pixels is configured to perform transmissive display.

    • A transflective display apparatus and an operation method thereof are provided. The transflective display apparatus includes a transflective display panel and a backlight module. The transflective display panel includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel includes a plurality of sub-pixels with different colors. Each sub-pixel includes a transparent area and a reflective area. The operation method includes: determining whether the transflective display apparatus is operated in a reflective mode or not; and driving, when the transflective display apparatus is determined being operated in the reflective mode, the transflective display panel by way of driving at least one of the plurality of sub-pixels in each pixel each time and turning off the backlight module, thereby facilitating the transflective display apparatus to display an image by using the reflective areas of the driven sub-pixels to reflect an ambient light of the transflective display apparatus.

    • A transparent display device including a liquid crystal panel is provided. The liquid crystal panel includes a color filter substrate, an array substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a first polarizer and a second polarizer. The first polarizer is disposed on a side of the color filter substrate far from the liquid crystal layer. The second polarizer is disposed on a side of the array substrate far from the liquid crystal layer. The color filter substrate includes a transparent base, and a color filter formed on the transparent base. The color filter includes compound pixel regions, wherein each of the compound pixel regions has color sub-pixel regions and a transparent sub-pixel region. The second polarizer includes a non-polarized pattern spatially corresponding to the transparent sub-pixel region in the color filter, after a light passing through the non-polarized pattern, the polarization state remains unchanged.
