摘要： The invention relates to a method for detecting a screening of a sensor device (4) of a motor vehicle (1) by an object (8), in which at least one echo signal, captured by the sensor device (4), that characterizes a spacing between the sensor device (4) and the object (8) is received (S1) by means of a computing device (3), a capture region (E) for the sensor device (4) is determined, and on the basis of the at least one received echo signal it is checked whether the capture region (E) of the sensor device (4) is being screened by the object (8), at least in some regions, wherein the at least one echo signal is assigned by means of the computing device (3) to a discrete spacing value (B1, B2, B3) from a plurality of discrete spacing values (B1, B2, B3), for each of the discrete spacing values (B1, B2, B3) a power value (P) is determined (S2) on the basis of the echo signal, and on the basis of the power values (P) a decision is made by means of a classifier as to whether at least a predetermined proportion of the capture region (E) of the sensor device (4) is being screened (S6) by the object (8).

摘要： Systems and methods for protecting an airborne platform against collisions are provided. One system includes FMCW radar sensors including transmitting antennae, means for receiving signals from echoes and for processing and digitizing same, and means for sending a central unit data representing said digital signals via a dedicated point to point link. The central unit includes means for processing said data to detect obstacles, means for calculating parameters for each obstacle including its radial velocity, distance range and azimuth, and means to transmit an avionic system of said platform data representing said detected obstacles and parameters. The system further includes means for guaranteeing that said emitted signals are shifted in time to create a shift in frequency guaranteeing that the radar sensors operate in the whole frequency band without perturbing each other.

摘要： A method and system for estimating the state of health of an object sensing fusion system. Target data from a vision system and a radar system, which are used by an object sensing fusion system, are also stored in a context queue. The context queue maintains the vision and radar target data for a sequence of many frames covering a sliding window of time. The target data from the context queue are used to compute matching scores, which are indicative of how well vision targets correlate with radar targets, and vice versa. The matching scores are computed within individual frames of vision and radar data, and across a sequence of multiple frames. The matching scores are used to assess the state of health of the object sensing fusion system. If the fusion system state of health is below a certain threshold, one or more faulty sensors are identified.
