摘要： A circuit for monitoring the health of the transformers is disclosed. In an implementation, the circuit includes a transformer that provides an input signal and a pulse generator that generates a pulse signal. An analog-to-digital converter receives a combined signal that includes the input signal and the pulse signal, and the analog-to-digital converter converts the combined signal to a digital representation of the combined signal. The circuit includes a first digital filter and a second digital filter that are connected to the analog-to-digital converter. The first digital filter reconstructs an amplitude characteristic of the input signal, and the second digital filter reconstructs the pulse signal. The circuit also includes a controller that indicates a short circuit or an open circuit associated with the transformer based upon a value of the reconstructed pulse signal.

摘要： A vehicle includes a magnetic switch and a controller. The magnetic switch is coupled with a trailer connection receptacle housing and aligned with a magnet in a cap of the housing while closed. The controller is configured to, in response to detecting an open position of the cap based on a state of the magnetic switch, periodically supply a voltage pulse less than an operating voltage across contacts of the housing to detect continuity therebetween. The controller is further configured to, in response to detecting a closed position of the cap, inhibit the voltage pulse. The magnetic switch may be a reed switch.

摘要： A system and method described herein detects the presence of an unconnected condition in high voltage component cables in an electric or hybrid-electric vehicle having a high voltage battery or energy storage system. The system includes a DC-DC converter which is capable of operating in either a step-down mode (e.g., as a buck converter) or a boost mode. The system uses the DC-DC converter operating in boost mode to create a sufficient, yet safe, measuring voltage on the main high voltage cabling of the vehicle before allowing the energy storage system to begin supplying high voltage power to the system components. The measurements are taken at various points near the individual components to determine if the cable has become disconnected.
