    • A scroll compressor includes a stationary scroll; an orbiting scroll having a pair of first Oldham keyways on one surface thereof, the orbiting scroll defining a compression chamber in combination with the stationary scroll; a frame having a pair of second Oldham keyways and supporting the orbiting scroll; and an Oldham ring for inhibiting rotation of the orbiting scroll, the Oldham ring having a pair of first Oldham keys on one surface thereof and a pair of second Oldham keys on the other surface thereof, the first Oldham keys slidably engaging with the respective first Oldham keyways, the second Oldham keys slidably engaging with the respective second Oldham keyways. The Oldham ring includes at least a pair of projections on the other surface thereof, and the projections have a height such that when the Oldham ring is inclined during simple harmonic motion, one of the projections makes contact with the one surface of the orbiting scroll before each of the first Oldham keys is brought into contact with the corresponding first Oldham keyway at two locations.

    • A horizontal suction accumulator generally includes a tank, an inlet tube, and an outlet tube. The tank extends in a horizontal direction and is configured to receive a refrigerant. The refrigerant includes a vapor and a liquid. The tank stores the liquid refrigerant and discharges the vapor refrigerant. The inlet tube supplies into the tank an inlet stream that includes the liquid and vapor refrigerants. The inlet tube extends into the tank and is bent upward at an acute angle. The liquid refrigerant is stored in the tank. The vapor refrigerant is discharged through the outlet tube, which extends offset from the inlet tube and into the tank. The inlet tube defines an inlet opening positioned at a first elevation, the outlet tube defines an outlet opening positioned at a second elevation, and the first and second elevations are substantially the same.

    • A refrigeration system includes: a compressor arrangement for compressing gaseous refrigerant from a first pressure to a second pressure, wherein the second pressure comprises a condensing pressure; a first condenser evaporator system and a second condenser evaporator system, where in the first condenser evaporator system and the second condenser evaporator system are arranged in parallel and each comprises: (1) a condenser for receiving gaseous refrigerant at a condensing pressure and condensing the refrigerant to a liquid refrigerant, where in the condenser comprises a gaseous refrigerant inlet, a plate and a liquid refrigerant outlet, and a water delivery system for delivering water to an outside of the plate for removing heat from the plate; (2) a controlled pressure receiver for holding the liquid refrigerant from the condenser; and (3) an evaporator for evaporating the liquid refrigerant from the controlled pressure receiver to form the gaseous refrigerant; a first gaseous refrigerant feed line for feeding the gaseous refrigerant at the second pressure from the compressor arrangement to the plurality of condenser evaporator systems; and a second gaseous refrigerant feed line for feeding gaseous refrigerant from the plurality of condenser evaporator systems to the compressor arrangement. A process for feeding multiple condenser evaporator systems provided, and a cartridge condenser is provided.
