    • A reconfigurable bin system for dispensing units, the system having a platform bin and a base member with load cells configured to support the platform bin. The platform bin itself comprises a platform plate, an optional front gate, a rear wall, and a plurality of side walls extending from the front of the platform plate to the rear wall so as to form an open-top bin. The platform plate includes a front flange disposed below the upper surface to define a trough extending across the front of the platform plate. Each of the plurality of side walls includes a rear tab received within a slot in the rear wall and a depending front tab received within the trough. A cap member may be removably secured over the trough to capture the depending front tabs within the trough, thereby securing the plurality of side walls in place.

    • A connection arrangement for connection of vertically and/or horizontally arranged containers. Each of the containers provides bosses or projections over a collinear pair of which is placed a separate plate. The plate provides matched polygonal apertures to receive the projections. Each of the projections provides an aperture there through to receive a retainer pin or bolt. The pin or bolt abuts the plate when engaged. The arrangement greatly expedites the separation of the containers when desired. The user needs only tap out the retainer pin and pull off the plate. This obviates the use of fasteners which can freeze, rust or become otherwise inoperative or cumbersome.

    • A receptacle is formed by folding a single sheet metal blank to define a floor, a front wall, a rear wall, and two side walls. The walls are joined to one another at each corner of two adjacent walls by providing a mounting tab foldable relative to one of the wall and a tongue on the other wall to receive and retain the mounting tab by interlocking connection of mating connections. Apertures for hooking the receptacle on a wall are located in the rear wall in alignment with corresponding apertures in the mounting tabs at the rear for increased strength. Each mounting tab includes a first portion which interlocks with the tongue and a second portion which is considerably longer than the first portion to redirect forces which might otherwise tend to urge the tongues to release the mounting tabs therefrom.

    • A collapsible rectangular container includes a container body having a pair of opposed solid side walls, a pair of opposed foldable side walls hingedly connected to the pair of solid side walls and a base end wall and a top end wall removably and slidably connected to ends of the pairs of solid and foldable side walls when the container body is in an erected position. The base and top end walls are removable from the ends of the container body to permit the body to be collapsed into a flat configuration by folding the side walls inwardly when the base and top end walls are removed.     • A collapsible container configured to lay substantially flat in a collapsed position and maintain an extended or usable position by utilizing load-bearing means rigidly disposed among and affixed to various support members.
