摘要： A child resistant safety cap device for applicator tubes includes a base element, a cap, at least one keyway latching system, and at least one spring. The base element has a top and a sidewall, and has a container tube attachment mechanism located under the top that is adapted to affix the base element to a container tube. The top has a content outlet and an elongated applicator nozzle at the content outlet that extends upwardly therefrom. The cap is adapted to fit onto the base element. It has an upper portion with a top and a sidewall and a lower portion with a downward extension of the sidewall. The upper portion includes an applicator nozzle sealing mechanism to seal the applicator nozzle when the cap is in a closed position. There is at least one keyway latching system that includes a track having a downward entry section and an upward locking section, and includes a track rider corresponding to the track. One of the track and the track rider is located on the outside of the base element sidewall and the other is located on the inside of the cap lower portion sidewall, and they are positioned relative to one another to operate cooperatively. A spring biases the cap upwardly when closed.

摘要： The present invention is a child resistant cap and dispenser. It includes a dispensing container, a flange located non-rotatably connected on the container neck with one-way ratchets, located thereon, said flange being non-rotatably connected to said container neck; a ring collar, non-removably and rotatably connected to the container neck with one-way ratchets located thereon, in functional and cooperative contact with the flange ratchets to permit rotation of it about the neck in one direction and so as to prevent rotation in the opposite direction. The ring collar has an outer circular wall, with one of (i) at least one keyway track and, (ii) at least one keyway protrusion, located thereon, the other being located on a cap, adapted to fit onto the said ring collar. There is a spring mechanism located on at least one of the necks, the collar and the cap, to bias the cap upwardly away from the dispensing container when the cap is connected to the ring collar.

摘要： A closure for a container with a threaded neck has a generally cylindrical body member and a disc pivotally mounted thereon. The body member has a peripheral wall with a lower, internally threaded skirt portion and a transversely extending wall intermediate the axial length of the body member above the skirt portion. The peripheral wall and transversely extending wall define a generally cylindrical cup portion above the transversely extending wall, and the transversely extending wall has a slot adjacent the inner periphery of the peripheral wall. The disc seats in the cup portion and is pivotally mounted on the peripheral wall of the body member about its periphery spaced above the transversely extending wall. The disc has a depending leg portion which extends through the slot in the transversely extending wall, and is pivotable about the points to move the leg portion downwardly and upwardly in the slot. As a result, the leg portion may be moved downwardly through the transverse wall to engage in a recess in the neck of the container and may be moved upwardly to disengage therefrom.

摘要： A container for storing a hazardous product, a lock ring and a safety closure placed over the lock ring and threaded to the container. An extending tab portion of the lock ring extends from the bottom of an annular slot in the neck portion of the container. An extending neck portion of the container and a peripheral wall of the lock ring positioned over it, both have an offset axis displaced about the same distance from a central axis of the mating threads on the closure and the container. These offset axes are positioned in alignment to permit closure removal when an alignment bar portion of lock ring is in contact with a shoulder of the annular slot in the neck portion of the container. Serrations on the outside serrated surface of the lock ring and the inside serrated surface of the closure, are concentric with the threads on the closure and the container when the offset axes are in alignment. The serrations grip lock together when the offset axes go out of alignment, which occurs when the closure removal is attempted improperly. The proper procedure of holding the extending tab stationary to maintain alignment will allow unthreading and removal of the closure.

The base is telescopically fitted with a top having an opening aligned with the cap on the bottle. A strong spring urges the top away from the base so that normally the cap is spaced below the opening. Only a considerable amount of compressive force calculated to be exertable only by an adult will telescope the container against the resistance offered by the spring to project the cap through the opening to a position where the cap can be unscrewed and the contents of the bottle removed.
