    • Provided is a moving mechanism for a blast gun which can easily move a blast gun accommodated in a blasting chamber and which can easily perform other operations from the outside thereof without leaking dust. A plurality of arm members (first input arm 21, second input arm 22, first output arm 31, and second output arm 32) are interlocked to form an input arm 20 and an output arm 30, each having one pair of arm members, one arm of the two arm members is pivotally attached to the other arm so as to be rotatable around an interlocked portion serving as a fulcrum, the input arm 20 is disposed outside the blasting chamber 3, and the output arm 30 is disposed inside the blasting chamber 3. In addition, the input arm 20 and the output arm 30 are interlocked to each other by an interlocking unit 40 which penetrates a top plate of a cabinet 4, and a power transmission mechanism is provided which rotates the second arm 22 synchronously with the rotation of the input arm 20, so that a blast gun 5 fitted to the output arm 30 can be moved by operating the input arm 20.

    • A linear motion apparatus for moving an object in a vacuum chamber comprising an antenna or a telescoping shaft such as a fishing rod to effectively utilize space, and to avoid the need of a rear projection thereby achieving stability. The linear motion apparatus includes: a body having a space portion penetrated horizontally; a rotary handle which penetrates at a right angle to the space portion of the body thereby controlling a linear motion; locking portion which is mounted in the space portion of the body, is inserted into a shaft of the rotary handle, and used to lock the motion; a guide rod which is formed as a multistage rod, whose one end is inserted and fixed into a predetermined position of the space portion of the body; linear motion force providing portion whose one end is fixed to the rotary plate and the other end is fixed to a nose portion of the guide rod, thereby providing a linear motion force to the guide rod; and a bellows seal which surrounds a circumference of the guide rod, is shrunken or expanded according to a linear motion of the guide rod. As a result, this apparatus performs a linear motion control by a contraction and expansion under ultra high vacuum.

    • Manipulator for inspecting and, if required, repairing the tubes of heat exchangers, especially for nuclear reactors, in which a tube bundle set in a tube sheet lead into a steam generator chamber and a manipulator is brought in through a lead-in nozzle. An inspection arm can be inserted and removed through the lead-in nozzle and the nozzle can be closed off tight by a blind flange. The inspection arm comprises a guide tube supported in the lead-in nozzle, and a swivel arm supported at the end of the guide tube so that it can rotate in a plane parallel to the tube sheet. The swivel arm carries at its outer end an extendable and retractable mouthpiece carrier with a mouthpiece which can be aligned onto the tube openings. The outer contour of the swivel arm and the mouthpiece carrier in the stretched-out transport position is not greater than the inner contour of the lead-in nozzle.

    • A manipulator for movement of articles in a controlled environment chamber,specially a high vacuum chamber, in which a bellows has one end sealingly connected to a wall of the chamber and has a cover sealingly connected to the other end with a closed sleeve in the cover and also sealingly connected to the other end of the bellows. A ball is located in about the center of the bellows and a ball cup supporting the ball is fixed to the wall of the chamber. The connection of the ball cup and the bellows to the chamber wall is advantageously by means of a flange. A manipulator rod is slidable in the ball and one of the ball and rod is rotatable. Magnetic means on the manipulator rod in the sleeve is coupled to magnet means outside the sleeve and by manipulation of the magnet means the rod can be reciprocated and rotated. The cover is provided with extensible supports connected between the cover and the flange for tilting the cover together with the sleeve and manipulator rod on the flange. Electric motors are preferably provided for actuating the extensible supports and for reciprocating the magnet in the housing and for rotating the magnet in the housing.
