摘要： A blade for ice hockey skates comprising a plurality of slanted slots which are symmetrically provided on the top edge of the blade. Each opening of the slots faces upward and toward the center line of the blade. Each of remaining materials between two adjacent slanted slots, and between either of the ends of the blade and the slanted slot adjacent to the end is bent alternately leftward and rightward about a non-horizontal axis on the remaining material so as to create end surfaces that can be viewed from either end of the blade.

摘要： A hockey skate includes a fiber-reinforced, composite frame, or an injected plastic frame, including a boot form and integral pedestals that serve as a blade-holder. The pedestals are integral with the bottom of the boot sole and are optionally spaced relatively far apart to provide a long span between them. An optional bridge assembly may be used to connect the blade to the pedestals. The bridge assembly may provide increased stiffness and vibration damping, as well as customized fit options.

摘要： The present invention is an ice-skate blade formed to increase the balance of a skater upon an ice-skate blade. The blade may incorporate indentations in one or more both of the following position: a portion of the front section of the skate blade; and a portion of the rear section of the skate blade. Such indentations may be a series of serrated cuts or otherwise formed notches in the lower blade edge. The blade may be formed in a variety of sizes, and may be connectable to a variety of skate boots. A skater utilizing the blade of the present invention will be assisted with regaining balance upon the blade upon experiencing unbalance, and assisted with maintaining balance upon the skate blade. The blade functions in a manner that allows a skater to learn and develop skating skills.
